The squad isn't big enough (esp. in terms of quality) not to tail off. Howe's great but he's not a miracle worker and keeping up with the resources of Man City etc. isn't realistic. It's amazing to have achieved what we have so far.

They should let Mason play a women's team. He'd last about 3 seconds before his legs were snapped off by 21 players all at once.
