Quickly becoming a forest fan with how they're upsetting the cartel. It helps that I have a soft spot for Chris Wood (even though he didn't reach those heights for us, i always admired him + he didn't celebrate against us even when he scored that hatty). Plus Elliot Anderson who no one wanted to see gone but also would never have flourished here because even though he's good, he's not our midfield good .... yet. Perhaps he could have filled in for Joelinton more with this experience hes had now. Great to see a geordie doing well though. Anyway, yes quickly becoming a fan - admire their fight and love the fact they were PSR'd last year and now they're number 2. Hope they get a CL place as well as us to give the 'top 6' some squeaky bum time. Go forest! (Except against us).

Incredibly annoyed that Anderson is a NFFC player, he never got a proper chance here but I understand why we had to sell him. The only silver lining is that we are HIS club and he will always love us more and I hope one day he will come back

Why do Everton fans hate Gordon so much? I can't really see myself ever hating an academy player that leaves us - Anderson for example. It's a bit odd.

Yeah we are all frustrated with that but Rome wasn't built in a day and all that. Back in the day before PSR we would have bought everybody under the sun. Now we can't do that. Yes the summer was disappointing but with several key management positions yo-yoing, I'm not surprised. P.s. Osula will come good..give it time.

Don't get what you all watched. Thought we were quite decent, fluid, nice passing, we created chances. Yes couldn't put them away but can't blame Gordon. He's not really a CF and he was playing against Everton... I mean if any of you wouldn't be affected by that you aren't human! Dominated, played well, didn't win = unhappy. I get that you want Newcastle to be a powerhouse and the best club in the world, feared by all, selling shirts for fun in a tiny village in Peru, trouncing Real Madrid 4-2 in the Club world cup final. For a club, hammered by PSR, relegated twice in the last reign of ownership and literally fighting for our lives 2 seasons ago, I'd like to think we've made some pretty good headway in reaching a LC final and qualifying for the CL. If that makes me a loser fan and having a weak mentality then you'll have to forgive me and most of us. We've been used to dross for years and overcoming trauma takes time.
