There's no one i trust more next season to get us back into CL. But to compete on all 4 fronts, we NEED more players. It's tough. The players are knackered. I thought the 2nd half with Woltemade on pitch, we played some nice football. I thought we didn't play that badly at all! Mistake by pope and we've lost. Plus Trippier, but who else is going to cover RB???

Im shattered from keeping up with the games. I watch a game and then literally, only have to wait like 2 days for the next. Feels like we are spoilt with football at the moment so no wonder he looks knackered. Summer is going to hurt!

I also saw today a real evolution of how we are trying to play. We usually have the most possession now, and other teams have to play on the counter against us more and more. We make mistakes granted...but we will improve on that. Think our final third attacking play is improving. Weve scored a lot of goals recently, but weve just been letting a lot in through costly errors. The only way is up. The only way is Eddie!

Evolution is definitely life after Isak no? Or becoming a counter attacking team to a possession based team... a very difficult transition to make IMO.

Also for context, Villa fans all wanted Emery gone at the beginning of the season because of 5 poor games and poor form at the end of last season. They've now gone 11 games unbeaten. We just need to bide our time. Form is temporary, class is permanent. And Eddie is CLASS!

One thing i have enjoyed just now is going back to page 1 of the Isak thread in RAWK. Oh how the mighty have fallen. They honestly thought they were going to trample the league and win CL. It's hilarious what's happened to them. Waiting all this time to become 'the best club in the world' and you've got more problems than anyone else. Please don't let it stop!

Yep, ive not given up yet..not even half way through the season and we have our number 9 finally coming back. No afcon too for ANY squad player which is a huuuuge bonus in this league. Villa seem a year ahead of us in terms of development, i.e. last season of theirs is this season of ours - feels like anyway. But happy to see the status quo being punched about and Villa deserve to be there.
