Just saying what I see mate, saying what I see. Just doesn't look like him is all.
-
Isn't that an old pic? Doesn't look like Gordon from the back?
-
Has this happened yet?

Good, shows him how much we want him..

Really think this is a bad deal. They want him for a reason - they're not buying him cause he's shit, they're buying him cause he's really good.

Great article. Really like AG, a lot of people, not just footballers, could learn a thing or two about his mentality!

Adnan Januzaj for Man United. Always thought he'd make it, like the next Ronaldo. Ended up at Sunderland on loan and then left for Spain. Underwhelming.

That is horrendous

It's worth noting that even though we might be 9 points worse off than last season at the same time, so are other teams in terms of position. The league leaders last year were 5 points better off with a much narrower gap between 1st and 7th. This means that all the top teams are taking points off each other regardless of where anyone is. It all means that if it continues like this we won't need as many points as we did last year to make top 6. So there's hope!! Be a hopeful idiot like Froggy!

I love you Eddie Howe ❤️
-
Could even be that there's not much competition for places at the front? Who knows? It's fucking frustrating though.
-
Rome wasn't built in a day. Gotta give Howe the time. Constantly switching managers doesn't help.
-
That bench finally even just one option to change it up is fantastic
-
He could be worse though! Eddie's not stupid, there will be a reason. Just have to trust him.

I'd be happy with Phillips to be honest, just because you didn't make it at Man City doesn't mean you're not a top player. He looked great at Leeds and fantastic for England. My only worry is that he won't be fit for months with how we play..however he did play in a Bielsa team so perhaps his understanding of Howe's game would be easier. I love a redemption arc.
-
Yeah but if he doesn't trust him defensively which is what we needed at the chelsea game then that's quite a key match to throw him onto. Perhaps would be a bit different if we were 1-0 down and needed a goal?
-
I think when we have our players back, specifically Barnes, Willock, Joelinton and Isak, everything will be a bit easier! With fewer games now in the new year, we will have more rest and more rotation and our away form will pick up. The reason why our home form is still so good despite the injuries is the fans spur them on and give them that extra energy. Away doesn't happen like that. But once we have a bigger squad again, our energy will return. The next few years might be a bit yo yo like until we can compete properly on all 4 fronts.

Whenever we seem to dread a game and get worried, we do seem to win so come on Lads! Make it a black and white Christmas!

Also Livramenta had a whole season at Southampton playing in the PL before Hall... Hall lacks competitive league experience so requires more time.

He's what, 18/19? People develop differently. He was getting games at Chelsea because they were a poorly managed side and he was the only bright spark in a sea of shit. Eddie is trying to help him become a better player. That is invaluable. Gordon had the same trajectory - he didn't make an impact for 6 months and now he's basically undroppable. He'll come good and when he does, he will be another secret weapon!

Hopefully it's time to change that!
