I don't think Targett will be ready to start yet after 4 months out and only playing 8 mins today. Pope Trips Schar Botman Burn Willock Bruno Longstaff ASM Isak Almiron Would love Murphy for Almiron and Target for Burn but I don't think that will happen.

Murphy looked good when he came on..what a difference it makes whipping in balls on the overlap. When tripper overlaps almiron we always have a chance but when almiron overlaps tripper it gets checked back. Think Murphy deserves a chance.

Agree it hasn't been a great watch but we've not been bad! Pope saves that if it wasnt deflected by Botman. In another game, Ake deflects Longstaffs shot into the goal. Just football. Wilson is out of form obviously and needs a confidence boost..not sure how he gets that but it's just form. Happens to all players... Again it's football. I think Gordon has been coached that side to keep the ball and not try anything too risky so as to maintain possession. We see how quickly man city can go on the counter. So the backwards passes are normal... I mean everyone is doing it. It's just because he's a new signing. Plus confidence..plus first start. Go easy on the lads..Lacelles has done very well considering, I'm surprised at how confident he looks. It's nice to see him get a run out. Again, agree it's not great watching but against possibly the best team in the league for a few years and the beast that is Haaland, we've done very well to just concede a wonder run and deflected goal by, in my book, a pretty world class player.

I agree. Tbh I really love the bloke.

Thought he played REALLY well. I mean... Imagine.. you haven't played a competitive game in 2 years and the last that anyone remembers of you is those 2 howlers in a champions League final match. You've not even appeared for the club you play for and you're thrust into a cup final where EVERYONE expects you to make a howler. The balls of this man is something else. He should definitely be our number 2 and he would be a darnsight happier with that than Dubravka. Tbh Dubravka is the very reason we were in this mess in the first place because he decided to try and make a go of it at man United. Enjoy your medal but I'm in team Karius now.

Yeah I don't think Schar is right. Is no surprise we've had two goals in since he had his head injury and he shook his head quite knowingly just after.

Think we've played well, just man u better in final 3rd at the moment. Bit worried about Schar. didn't look right to me and he was man marking casemiro for their first goal. Weve had more possession, more shots and more passes.. I hope the lads comw raring out 2nd half. Maybe Schar should come off, burn to CB and targett as LB if he could manage a half.

I kept waking up thinking in English time "what time is it, is it time yet" but no was only 8am and then 12pm (UK time). Had a dream Bruno slotted one home and we won. It was so real I thought I'd watched the match. Man I wish I was there!

This is all grim reading. Unfortunately it's not a story that's new to me.

I'd love it if Everton were relegated. But it's one of those teams that you can't even cherry pick the best players from them because they're all pretty bad. "Onana what's his name" seems pretty good and I always liked the look of Demarai. Plus he was a Rafa signing. Leeds going down would be better. Sommerville and gnonto look very good.

Even this beautiful beach in Mexico I'm on cannot calm the nerves!! Will be a 1030am game for me which I'm glad about because I don't have to be awake all day waiting for it. Gutted to miss it at Wembley though, I hope all that go have an amazing day!

Yeah I think the run in to this season in FPL is brutal. I've not used any of my chips yet but I know the fixtures are all mental coming up so even though people are jumping me now, in a few weeks time they'll be a bit fucked. Especially with loads of BGWs coming up.. That's what I'm hoping anyway! Managed to field 10 players, 4 doublers and no chip this week. Took a -4 but I'm thinking about the big BGW in week 28.
