Pre-season (2026/27): NUFC to play Everton at Murrayfield on 12/08/26
JLC replied to bowlingcrofty's topic in Football
I bought that pass for all the pre season games. The system seems to have forgotten about it though. Asking me to pay again. Fuck that -
Thrown in my tenner. Many thanks for arranging

A sounds more fun

One of the good guys. Nothing but the best for him. Please look after him, Leeds

Hugo Ekitike (not playing for Liverpool for a while)

I believe it's done -
I was on there too, and I'm pinky as they come.

He's excellent I think. The only NUFC YouTube channel I watch

Come on fellas, having that film centre based in Sunderland would have been great for the North East. We need to move away from regional oneupmanship when it comes to these opportunities. What if this film thing ends up somewhere else in the UK and brings wealth to that region? Yeah, I prefer and applaud these game-changers arriving in Newcastle, but we need to applaud any major investment in the North East, regardless of location. We are a forgotten region. There's rivalry and there's realism about regional opportunities for all.

Tears here with that. Wow. Absolute throwing the bravos out to those involved

Wondered exactly that too !

I did MBA at Durham, yep a top Uni. But didn't go to traditional Uni for undergrad. The irony here is, I am the classic dropout. Zero O levels(long story) But I'm not stupid, I hope anyway ... retired in my 40s. Anyway, I think we'll sign Pedro. In an attempt to get thread back on track.

I'd slightly disagree here on regional opportunities. I did an equally expensive MBA (Durham) and raised VC funding for my own startup(s). In Newcastle. Agree that London is the centre of attention for most things in UK life. But it's absolutely possible, though admittedly more difficult, in the regions.

That's a great post.

Electrifying video that. Just watched again

£50m seems to be the new £20m = going rate for a very good footballer. Inflation of footballer prices has gone nuts. Another reason PSR is not fit for purpose
