Early Internet years, who else was on Albert Koelmans' nufc mailing list hosted by a server in the depths of Newcastle Uni ?

Skunkers was brilliant, and unlikely sadly to ever be repeated Geordie blatherers was an early forum, mid 90s. Very very funny. Maybe only a dozen or so members. We had one of those bricks at the ground made up outside the main entrance Thirty years on, it's great that forums such as this still survive despite tech advances elsewhere.

First with the info, bravo. What a crackers club

Agree with Exiled. He's one I trust. Doesn't loudmouth on socials much. Not his style.

We got played off the park but what an atmosphere.

Up there with the best away followings I've been in. Friday night game IIRC ?

Cunts. I can't recall paying for a MUTV subscription
-
My first time there was 5-0 in 85/86 I think. The only time I've visited and seen us get a result was 2-2 Mirandhina. Fucking grim place for us over the years.

Anyone else doing the Callum Wilson / Shola online Q&A event tomorrow? Organised by the club, think it was yet another ballot thing to gain access

Great Post timnufc22.

I used to like Arsenal until Arteta popped up. A gentlemanly club, now led by the most ungentlemanly of blokes

Can't quite believe that's 27 years ago. What a party afterwards that was.

Totally. What a couple of years we've been lucky enough to live through. And more to come

Private jet just flew over Tynemouth, landing at NCL. OKPHM from Portugal For plane tracking sensationalists

I'm colour blind and had to have a lie down after about ten seconds. And a large G and T to recover from the sensation and rage at the non-daltonian broadcasting cunts

Yes. I thought he had a v fine first half. We couldn't handle him. Born in Stoke, plays for Chile. Quite a geographical contrast

Brilliant stuff lads -
Yep, from what I can recall the game carried on but there was a lot of police activity, disturbance. Horrendous trouble outside after the game. Grim times.
-
I still have flashbacks to that day. Most scared I've been at a match. I was using all my strength to prevent myself being crushed.
-
Can't believe that is 40 years ago. I was in the corner for that one. Still my favourite season to this day.
