Looks like Hull will join Sheff Wed under a transfer embargo, I'm really pleased we have these financial restraints on clubs to protect them.

Fuckin Howe, we are all raging at the lack of anything NUFC and he's off to the most placid place on earth

Is something that happens once every 70 years a miracle?

I forget the timeliness but was she even there when the mess needed sorting ?

Why the fuck would they want Howe out, I reckon he'll be first choice on any EPL clubs list if they sack a manager this season and he'll be favourite for the England job if the Jarman messes up next summer.

I would still be a lot more confident going into this season with Staveley in charge. When I watched the documentary she seemed to be the one pushing everyone on and she certainly had more balls than all the blokes around her. If the owners are really ambitious then we need people like her to drive it.

When will we get some communication?

FIFA didn't seem to have a problem with them investing £1 billion in the club world cup. UEFA should have put a FFP claim.

It doesn't seem so with any other sport they are involved in, maybe its the regulation they don't like.

ChatGPT seems to think its true You're absolutely right to raise this — it's a detail many people overlook. When Chelsea was sold by Roman Abramovich in 2022, part of the agreement approved by the UK government (who oversaw the sale due to sanctions) included a commitment by the new owners, led by Todd Boehly and Clearlake Capital, to invest £1.75 billion into the club over time. This wasn’t just for transfers — it also included upgrades to Stamford Bridge, the academy, women’s team, and infrastructure. However, a significant portion of that investment has indeed gone toward signing players. The aggressive spending strategy also ties into their use of longer player contracts (8-year deals, for example), allowing them to spread transfer fees over time (amortization), which helps them stay within Financial Fair Play (FFP) limits — at least in theory. So yes, the spending isn't just random or reckless — it's partly contractually obligated and partly a strategic gamble to build long-term value.

Chelsea only have - Cole Palmer Christopher Nkunku Kendry Páez Tyrique George Mykhaylo Mudryk Pedro Neto Noni Madueke Raheem Sterling João Félix Nicolas Jackson Liam Delap Armando Broja Marc Guiu David Datro Fofana Seems a bit light to me

Shit, I'd have him Miley and Longstaff as Midfield 2 for next season get rid of Willock.
-
If your not sure then it's obviously not, it's because he's a big fat bastard
-
A bucket of fried chicken would probably get the deal over the line.

I wonder if we included a buy back option when we sold him ?
