  1. I don't like it either. I was always against VAR being introduced because I knew referees would still be incapable of making the right decision even when looking at a slow motion replay. I wasn't wong. What I didn't account for is how inconsistently it would be used. It's impossible to predict when they're going to bust it out. It's as if the machine isn't turned on all the time or something.
  2. VAR cuts the greedy 6 refereeing bias in half. Now they can only give the borderline decisions to Liverpool and Man U.

Two Haalands. Even from the same league.
  4. A couple of thoughts: 1. Like most people, I used to like Klopp, but after his Super League cowardice, I now think he's a big shit and hope his team continued to regress. Really glad we took two points away from these arrogant turds. 2. That Fabinho challenge on Max was a red for me. He deviated from his natural path by about two metres and then absolutely clattered him with a high shoulder. Dangerous play all day. It was like something Wynn Davies would do.
  5. The only thing that matters is intent. If the defender isn’t trying to pass to the keeper then he can catch it. Or pick it up.
  6. He’s never looked fully fit to me in the last two years. Always gassed after an hour. He quite often hobbles after making a run too. Does he have some permanent niggling injury that we know about?

Worst CF I’ve ever seen. Absolute bus seat sniffer.
  8. "I was chipping awai at a crumble with the side of me spoon when Janet told'uz about the Super League. By the time I was washing it down with me Ribena it was all aover. Such is the nayture of the modern gaim."
  9. They’ve literally told us they’re going to try again.
  10. They’re all ok. Wraith seems a normal bloke. Hard to imagine he dressed up as a vicar。 I like Keith as well. The fact that he doesn’t know how to be cool on Twitter just makes him more genuine. I think it’s just his optimism that some people don’t like.
  11. Yep. I always see stuff on here to the tune of, "What else can we do?", "We've tried everything?", "He's rhino-skinned". We've done nowt but silently line Mike's pockets.
  12. How much coercion does there need to be when you’re a super famous, super rich, decent looking ex- Man U player? Even at his age he’d hoover up the minge in most bars.
  13. “Don’t have evidence to 100% confirm but basically the takeover is completely dead.” Luke Edwards gets it wrong #7368
  14. “I spoke tonight” To whom? Was it a phone call with Amanda or a text to her secretary?
  15. I am always reading that this takeover has been “exhausting” and that it’s not fair to get people’s hopes up as the strain could lead to mental collapse. I can honestly say football has never fatigued me to the point it affects my ability to function.
  16. Yes. Reading his tweets, it’s pretty obvious he’s just latched on to Jacobs’ non-information. Basically, Ben Jacobs picks up semi-reliable whiffs of confidence from the PL side and then Luke picks up whiffs of Ben’s dinner. The bald turd knaas nowt.
  17. Spice? Spayce? I once read in The Viz that the Glaswegian pronunciation of "Spice Girl" is the same as the American pronunciation of "Space Ghetto". Blew my mind.
  18. The government are suberservient to money. Rich people tell the government what to do; not the other way round. Also, to the people worried that the PL will now decide "no more money bags owners", I don't think the PL can block this on a whim. They can't just use this latest escapade as a reason to not allow the Saudis in. They're bound to their ODT as it was before and will need sound legal footing to reject the takeover.
  19. Imagine how many referees, players and managers have been bribed over the years to influence games.
  20. Over the last 48 hours I keep seeing the Premier League referred to as a pyramid. Has it ever been called that before? Aren’t pyramids used to represent social structures with a few rich leaders at the top and a bunch of proles at the bottom?
  21. Doussi and Jamie Reuben were giving it the emojis on twitter, so it's presumably all well for now.
  22. Surely they can't change the test half way through. It does worry me a little bit that clubs might be going up for sale because we all know the Saudi's pass that test.
