  1. By the way, I know the I love Luke Edwards brigade don't enjoy De Marco's tweets but that one he put out today is looking a bit prettier. An open pathway! #monochrome
  2. No. Keith's big news was going to be whatever dirt he has on the PL and to be published by Kennedy. He's now saying that the club have taken on his anti-competition case and all the relevant files and dirt have been passed to NUFC, so we still don't know the exact nature of Keith's big scoop. He's hinted enough times though - it's related to PL corruption. As for what this means for the arbitration case, no one seems to know.
  3. Not quite. His big news (I think) was that he had information that exposes Masters and PL corruption. He's now saying he's handed over his information to the club who've taken up the anti-competition case, so we still don't know what dirt he may or may not have on them.
  4. It's a common quantifier. A punch of posts, a fist of comments, a headlock of messages etc.
  5. That's how I'm interpreting it. It's been suggested on here before that Ashley might take this route and other posters have laughed the idea off for the same reason you're laughing at it now. Here we are though...
  6. Who? I know there's an American lawyer who chips in with his knowledge of their system.
  7. She has a clue about legal process. At least she can say what typically happens in certain types of cases.
  8. I always like to hear what that Shell lass has to say when the legal process stuff comes out. No one on here's got a fucking clue.
  9. From Simon Zekaria (whoever he is) on twitter: The claim states that the failure of the takeover by a consortium of investors, including Saudi Arabia's sovereign wealth fund, affected the ability of @NUFC to compete in the Premier League So Mike is bringing legal action against them because the (illegally) blocked takeover affected the club's ability to complete. That sounds like the compensation claim that so many people said he'd never be able to make. Am I misunderstanding anything?
  10. That little dig at the 'dark forces' bodes well for the takeover. Hell hath no fury like a greedy git scorned.
  11. It's 2007. Choose one option. - Mike Ashley buys the club, runs it like a corner shop for 14 years and then sells it to the richest and best owners ever in football. - Some fairly rich bloke buys the club and runs it like a normal PL football club until he dies at the age of 302.
  12. Aye, the conversations he has with them must be belter. Matt Ritchie's probably been trying to smuggle his tactics in for the last 2 years.
  13. Veriaqa is an Indonesian NUFC fan. He's been on the forums for years. I think he was going for a sarcastic post there.
  14. Did a punch of posts just get removed? I was enjoying reading those
  15. We're knackered, we're struggling to cope, we just want it to end... Striking fear into the hearts of every other team.
  16. The takeover pessimists often write things like, "emotional energy", "mentally drained", "exhausted", "creating false hope" etc. I think it just comes down personality type. I enjoy reading people's thoughts on what might be happening. I enjoy it more than Newcastle matches. Just as people like talking about what happened to the Mary Celeste or Lord Lucan. You'll probably never know but it's just a bit of mental masturbation that people enjoy. Talking about the takeover doesn't exhaust me and I won't suffer any sort of mental capitulation if it doesn't go through.
  17. The Man U game was awful. We murdered them and lost 1-0. Then murdered them again a few months later and won 5-0.
  18. Did they go with the usual narrative of Kevin Keegan had a meltdown and that's what caused us to lose the title?
  19. City will take the piss 2nd half I think.
  20. I'm quite sure Kennedy's only source is Keith and I doubt Keith tells him that much more than what he puts out on twitter. However, it's pretty obvious that they do have a bit of a story to publish and it's likely about big 6 corruption. When Liam says, "They've told us not to publish it", I can only assume he's referring to NUFC's legal team, which to me is a positive sign. It means the story is at least significant enough for Nick De Marco to care about its release (or non-release). Generally speaking though, I agree. Kennedy doesn't know much more than what's already out there about the arbitration case.
  21. Except that's not what happened. I just shared his words on the story he's holding back because. It was neither positive nor negative. Just an update on the situation.
  22. I've watched Jon Dahl's highlight compilations on youtube and he just seems like a tap-in merchant. Not a bad quality for a forward to have but I'm not convinced he was the brilliant footballer people think he became after leaving us. He doesn't strike me as someone who could've play the Beardsley role in behind the forwards.
