  1. Massive opportunity to put 3 or 4 teams back into a very catchable group also.
  2. Bolton are on a bit of a charge at the moment also.
  3. I would argue Irving Nattress and David Craig were better than Barton. One footballer missing due to his injury which finished his career was Tony Green, who was out of this world. Would have been one of our all time greats if he hadn’t got that injury.
  4. Agree. He has been improved (doesn’t take much as you said), but he certainly hasn’t been anything special either and as you also said he is a red card in waiting. Also agree with Thiago’s post above.
  5. He did miss one game after a bust up think it was Wimbledon away in the cup
  6. Fan share issue would never work then or now (as the Trust proposal showed). As for defending Ashley just put a search in Google as they are there (for example to this day he still doesn’t regret selling to Ashley). As said to HTT different opinions.
  7. Keegan soon fucked off and he wasn’t responsible for the club being sold to that cunt. As I said you’re entitled to your opinion, mines different.
  8. He tried to get a fan ownership which failed dramatically and the share issue he did introduce was one of the reasons Keegan left in the end. He did get Keegan to come into management to his credit, which was a definite game changer. He changed his mind on Kilkline because Keegan walked out. Hall to me is the person who sold out to Ashley and resulted in 14 years of absolute hell as a supporter. The same bloke also was on record a few times defending Ashley.
  9. He sold out at the first opportunity he had. Ashley had a terrible reputation even back then. He even went behind Shepherds back to get it done. It certainly isn’t a stupid POV either. One person put this club on the map and that’s Keegan. Keegan had to threaten to walk away to sign Kilkline. You might not want to blame Hall for selling to Ashley, but I certainly do.
  10. In the same case if it wasn’t for Hall we wouldn’t have had 14 years of no hope and absolute purgatory either.
  11. I think it’s part of any standard contract nowadays.
  12. Brentford could be this year’s team to drop like a stone. Would love to see Everton go down, but think they have too much quality for that
  13. Man Utd also as they were there for the taking
  14. Only 7 pages that must be a new forum record for them surely

    Joelinton

We need someone making runs into the box got to be Willock for me.
  16. Cos they’re bricking it in case he doesn’t become manager. Be funny as fuck for the meltdown, even though I think Keane would be a poor choice anyway.
  17. Oh I would be more than happy to see Ashley roll up there.
  18. I actually think this is a must win game to make sure we bring other teams back in the mix. I certainly don’t want a situation where it’s one team out of four stays up. We can be one point behind Everton and most likely also reduce the gap with Leeds and Brentford.
  19. Of course we do, as we can’t keep dropping points at home. It’s a massive chance to also pull in a few other teams into the mix. Got to play Bruno from the off and put Willock in a more advanced role. However, I would not be shocked in the slightest if both Shelvey and Longstaff start.
  20. Funny as fuck seeing them turn on each other on RTG after a few days of fist pumping solidarity. Das Kapital
  21. One is just above us and one is midtable, if you want to stay up then you should be looking to beat these teams at home. We have miserably failed to do so in previous games against teams of this level at home and if you keep going down that road, then there is a good chance you're going to be relegated. Didn't even mention Bruno, we should be looking to win both these games even before he was signed.
  22. We have 2 winnable home games coming up and we have to make the most of it. Can’t keep dropping points at home in these type of games
  23. Pound for each ticket to the Bradley Lowery foundation which is good
