I totally agree, however, devils advocate, is the attachment to the CAT case that they bought their season ticket in the belief that the takeover was imminent and there were "no red flags"?

The takeover was off before the season started.

No idea how purchasing a ST would have any substance in taking the PL to court. You can’t buy something because you think something will happen, then put a civil case in when it doesn’t.

The PL’s defence would be simple, surely? Supporter A made a decision to purchase a ticket based on no official news and due to rumours in the media. That’s his/her own stupid fault.

If you look at who youd expect to be in the mix its Norwich, Burnley, Us, Southampton, Palace, Watford, Wolves and Brentford. You could question (with Bruce as manager) if we're better than any of the others apart from Norwich. We're going to hope Wilson and ASM play 30+ games each.

We’ve played three of them so far this season (all at home) and have a cup exit and one point to show for it.

Unless we somehow miraculously take points from the better sides, we’re in deep shit.

A loss at Watford could push him closer than one to Leeds tbf, the hierarchy and the mongs will see Leeds as a good side in spite of the fact they're yet to win.

I've posted it a few times now, Bruce will relegate us this season. Remove him and we stop up comfortably.

    Agree entirely with this.

It did seem like Sky turned down the mics - there was a definite drop in volume when chants started going (on TV)

Why would Sky do it? Remember - they are client journalists for the owner and have been since he bought the club.

If a chant contains swearing, which the Ashley one does - they often turn the volume down on those.

More likely to be that then a made up agenda.

I disagree, Man City are all about ball possession, quick one twos, triangles, move into pockets, ASM is all about gets the ball, head up, runs, tries a few tricks to beat a player or two and then either runs out of steam or passes to a player who usually fluffs their lines. Compare Grealish, he knows what to do and what not to do, I don’t think ASM does or ever will.

I think most of that is down to the management though. Bruce’s entire game plan is to let ASM do whatever he wants. Put him under a manager who demands of him and it’ll be interesting to see how he adapts.

A quarter is a large number of fans to be standing up; the other chants don’t require anyone to stand up. You best ask Sky about their microphones, you want to believe what you heard on the tv then fine, I was there, not in The Gallowgate and it was loud and prolonged. Don’t expect it to be anywhere near as hostile at 4pm on a Sunday when Spuds are in town.

It was loud and hostile atmosphere at times on TV too. That’s my whole point. Sky weren’t purposely muting Ashley/Bruce chance.

The issue is, it wasn’t anywhere near as prolonged as it should’ve been and the ASM goal silenced the hostilities to some degree.

.com report on that too. Maybe they’re in this secret society with Sky too trying to mute our Bruce out chants.

Imagine if this shite was posted on RTG  Everyone would be ripping them to shreds ffs.

That’s wrong, I was in the Milburn Paddock and it was very loud as I’ve already said. It was large portions of the ground as well, the BBC article is pretty accurate

A post of yours literally above points out only “a quarter” of people joined in with one particular chant.

Sky don’t have an agenda to purposely hide Bruce out chants like  the commentators drew the viewers’ opinion to the chants nearly every time they occurred. Why would they purposely mute them if that’s the case?

I’ve accepted the Trust for what it is which isn’t and never will be nor ever should be a protest group so I still support them and in @Greg and @Heronwe have two guys in them in particular who I’ve met and they are far from being bluffers, they are die hard toon fans who want what is best for NUFC as a club, as a club in the community and it’s fans, locally and internationally. They will be around long after Ashley and Bruce have gone and will continue to have the club and fans’ back over major issues for as long as they continue and long may they, well done NUST lads and lasses, keep up the good work

    Which is?

  9. A chant always sounds louder when you’re sat in the stand.

They were all audible on the TV but were clearly not sung by all. As evident by the fact 90% of the crowd were motionless whilst the chants were going on.

All of this, “Sky are muting us” is mackem-esque and embarrassing. Undoubtedly they play with the volume here and there but to suggest they were purposely muting Ashley/Bruce chants is ridiculous.

21 point deduction for Derby for breaking financial fair play rules. Disgusting really when you see City and Chelsea spunking 100m on 1 player. Whole game needs seriously looking at now

Makes the £3.5m fine that the ‘top 6’ paid for attempting to ruin the whole game even more pathetic.

They did mute it. Strange take that.

    What’s your agenda?

Have no agenda, I just didn’t think that they did. Might be wrong, don’t think it really matters tbh.

Not sure why they’d mute it when the commentators brought everyone’s attention to it almost every time it happened.
