  1. Not sure how it’s even being debated. Regardless of what his intent was, or how he stumbled, it was a shit challenge and could’ve seriously injured an opponent.

You just can’t go studs up on someone’s leg.

  2. Whilst I have no idea what that means, if it was that simple, why wouldn’t they have done that 12 months ago?

I’m sure these really expensive lawyers we’re paying for would’ve thought that’d be an option, compared to George on Twitter.

Fairly sure this info isn’t ‘new’ and was rebuffed by one of the local rags a month or two ago too, although can’t remember which one.

  3. They should call the match off and throw the book at Nice like. Give Marseille a 3-0 win.

Fans can fuck off acting like that. Absolutely thickos. Only way to punish them is to fuck the result off for them.

Players in bold walk into our team, midfield pairing and the full backs are a cut above what we have in those positions. Could easily make a case for Bowen ahead of Almiron. Id prefer Dubravka and Wilson ahead of Fabianski and Antonio but they're pretty close calls.

Most importantly though, they have an actually competent manager.

I had exactly the same as you - plus Fabianski, Benrahma and Antonio. In a 4-4-2 you could probably fit all 8 in. Admittedly the last three are debatable.

Not sure how many of ours they would have. Wilson and ASM maybe?

Ashley only acts if we spend too much time in the bottom 3, if we start to get cut adrift then he will act. If we're bouncing round the bottom but only dipping in and out of the bottom 3 then he'll persevere.

When has he ever done that though?

The only manager he has sacked while we’ve been in/near the bottom three was McClaren. That only happened because Rafa approached us. If Rafa didn’t approach us, McClaren would’ve stayed in charge.

Carver wasn’t sacked despite hurtling us towards the drop. He took a 50/50 gamble with him on the final day.

Bruce wasn’t sacked last season despite massive warning signs and possibilities of relegation.

Pardew survived multiple shaky moments and eventually only left of his own accord.

Hughton was sacked because of Ashley’s desire to bring Pardew in due to his dodgy dealings. Allardyce was only sacked because he wasn’t Ashley’s choice to begin with.

He needs to go. My worry is we could have like 4 points from 10 games before he is sacked and we are then in big trouble.

Sacked  Not a chance he is going anywhere. Ashley doesn’t sack managers.

Not at all, there isnt many in their starting lineup that you would swap for ours, their club structure/ownership is as much of a shambles as ours but the main difference is that we are lead by Steve Bruce. On that basis most clubs are light years ahead atm

Of their starting 11 last week, there is at least 8 I would happily transfer immediately into our team.

Yes, better than us. We have a steep drop-off in quality after Salah, Mane, Fabinho, VVD, TAA, Allison, Robertson which Chelsea don't have. We are more susceptible to loss in form due to injuries than Chelsea.

Their midfield is wildly strong imo, Jorghino/Kovacic/Kante

    Fair enough, maybe I’m wrong.

I don’t rate Kovacic that highly mind.

Chelsea's team looks defensive (watch them score 5)

I don’t think they’re anymore near as strong as people seem to be making out.

They’ll do well, such as getting in the top four/maybe winning a trophy, but I don’t think they’ll come close to Man City in the league.

I genuinely think he was bought to replace Pogba. Sickened for him not getting minutes over Matic.

Fred and McTominay is undoubtedly the best pairing but McTominay was injured today and VdB still didn't get on the pitch.

The lack of a CF was obvious again today too.

That being said, it's the second week of the season :lol:There'll no doubt be a ton of overreaction while we sit with 4 out of 6 points. Already one from that clown on here who I thought had fucked off or been banned. :anguish:

 You get so salty, hun.

Don’t worry, you’ll win the “getting into the top four” trophy and that’s all Man Utd need these days.

Funnily enough, we both want the same thing… OGS to remain at Man Utd for as long as possible. But for very different reasons

  11. OGS

Imagine needing a winner and dominating the game and ruining it by bringing fucking McTominay on.

Going to be hilarious hearing Man Utd fans fall over themselves to make excuses for not succeeding, again. Already playing down the amount they’ve spent.

Its tripe like this that keeps people hooked on this nonesense. 'Day is coming' 'Cant report'. Well, yes you can report on active proceedings, thats fucking nonesense. This takeover seems to be further away than ever, yet our day is coming? Fuck off Pete.

It’s not like Sky Sports reporters to tow the club’s line. How unusual.

  13. Finally decided to put myself through the pain of the highlights. Not sure what anyone is complaining about either decision, tbh.

Lascelles handles it, if he doesn’t, the ball is likely to go in the net. Wilson looks marginally offside without even drawing any lines.

A bit like last week with West Ham’s penalty decision. It could go either way, but ultimately we only have ourselves to blame because even without the decision(s) we weren’t in the game.

3 years ago Bruce was en-route to steering Villa into the bottom half of the Championship. The two main forwards in that team have just been sold for £135m this summer, Villa are now a club capable of challenging for top 8-10 in the Premier League. Even if you forget his monumental failings in his time at Newcastle, the turnaround at Villa since getting rid of him says it all. From being close to a swap deal for Rhodes to Boro to a £100m player in 3 years.

Everyone knows his stint at Aston Villa was Rafa’s fault.

Still though, he's barely, barely off. I'm sure they weren't going to use VAR for that this season? If they did, surely Bruno would have been off last week?

I mean it’d probably be relevant if we’d have just lost 1-0.

The fact is, even if we had scored the penalty, Villa would have stepped up from walking pace and cantered to a victory.

The referee isn’t to blame, the thick cunt in the dugout and the other tosser in Shirebook are.
