Voted 5, but said 6 earlier. Sort of somewhere in the middle. Any signing in the Zapata/Lingard/Alli territory would move me to a 6 or 7.
If you told me we’d bought Trippier and Bruno for £50m and disregard the other 3, my score would probably be the same.Happy to be wrong and hope I am because I’m still not totally convinced by Howe. Feel as confident now as surviving relegation as I did on 1 January and that’s not great.

Think we’re done now. Really tricky to get a deal done this late unless the player is close by, or a medical could be facilitated elsewhere.
Also relies on the selling club to not want or need the player as they’ll have no time to get a replacement in.

The Alli news suggests Caulkin was chatting shit.
Probably too embarrassed to tell anyone we were making the equivalent of a “you up?” text

Only Ornstein reporting we're in for him, literally nowt anywhere else.. (Ornstein is a decent source tbf)
Might as well crack open a Zapata thread
Sky sound like they’re about to go into it after the break after making inferences that there may be complications with his Everton deal.

Like coming home after a night out at 5am and you go online on messenger to see who's awake and desperate.
Christ, if we end up with what I did, we’ll be making moves for Francis Jeffers.

Who gives a fuck about Lewandowski and Haaland today, man?
Feel like they’ve got him on to talk about completely random things

For the record, I’m feeling extremely negative about our chances, but at least the games will be tighter and Bruno will be fun to watch.

Is Downie on a commission with this lad? Basically been advertising him all window and the level of detail there is strong
Reads like an advert.

To be fair, if we’re offering actual money we’ll be ahead of Everton’s deal

I'm not sure about Dele.
But I love the intent.
Agree with this
Will be a bit embarrassing for another knock back, getting a bit desperate.

I think you're a good poster but you're talking utter shite here. Villa weren't fighting relegation last season, they finished 11th and on 55 points.
And Burn has been playing before Dunk's injury and has been good going by Brighton fans' accounts.
My mistake with Villa, was thinking of the season before last. Point still stands about him being immediately replaced this window, you don’t do that unless they’re not good enough.
Before the injury, Burn only played 90 minutes three times (one being a cup game). He’s a utility man/back up, not a regular starter.

4 1/2 hours to sort a deal sheet and be granted an extension. Any forwards we could try for?
Feel a bit pervy like @ManDoonwith Bruno but we should be throwing money at Liverpool and Origi right now.

Targett was Villa's player of the season last year, and as Brummie has already said he's disappointed he's leaving, he's easily an improvement of Dummett, Ritchie and Lewis.
Burn is easily better then Lascelles, and Fernandez is injured. He's also in shit hot form. He improves us considerably.
Wood feels a whole we desperately needed filling, and is much more effective then Gayle, did we pay over the odds, absolutely, slightly uninspiring maybe, is he a bad signing, no.
Player of the season during a season they spent fighting relegation. Disappointed he’s leaving because he wanted him as backup to Digne, not because he’s any good. You missed Manquillo off, is he easily an improvement on him?
Lascelles isn’t being dropped. Plus, Burn is Brighton’s 3rd choice CB only playing due to injuries. He’s also playing in a very good and organised defensive unit and not our shambles. “Shit hot form” equalling about 10 games.

Downie saying Ekitike turned us down because we left it too late in the window for him to make such a big decision.
Massive fuck up that. Should’ve had it done weeks ago.
Fanny Breeze two hours ago:
”I wonder if Ekitike may have made a different decision if he had a decision to make three weeks earlier, rather being rushed with a couple of hours to make such a life-changing decision.”
Soz, @Magpie just replaced you as the most ITK.

Everyone we've signed is an improvement on our squad like, some massively some by a small amount, but we're in a much better position to where we we're a month ago.
Targett improves nothing, we have options just as good as him already at the club.
Burn may be an improvement on Clark, but won’t improve the starting 11. He’d be possibly 4th choice for me behind Lascelles, Schar and Fernandez.
I won’t go into Wood discussion again.

“They’ve gone for experience, character and fight” is right out of a PFM handbook like
Really worry about what we’ve done. For what we’ve spent, I only see Trippier and Bruno as improvements.
