If the ground was built on leazers you can imagine there would soon be bars, restaurants, bookies, entertainment pop up over the years stretching the center of town out that way. Even if it was somewhere further you would still need somewhere for fans to gather before or after the games. Plus a new ground need to make sure it has more income being generated outside of match days.

Maybe Howe is trying to adapt his system or at least have an alternative. I think we got to a point last season where teams would sit back in our home games and let us pass the ball sideways until they were able to intercept and break on us. Is grealish or sane the ones who can offer something else?
