Well it would because Zionists and philosemites are utter psychopaths. They’d still be wrong.

It’s not racist or defamatory.

That’s the biggest issue we have. Fix that and we’ll be fine, but there are a lot of games between now and January. Could Schar play there alongside Hayden? At least you’d have two deep lying centre mids who can drop in, one of which can actually pick a pass.

We’re not going to suddenly become a decent side overnight. We’re lacking confidence, fitness and tactical discipline. When Rafa followed McClaren it took a good month before we looked anything other than complete shit, and we haven’t even appointed the new guy yet. It’s imperative in the short term we don’t get cut adrift. In that context today is ok. We’re going to have to scrape points while we can for a while.

It’s just as much about instructions and tactics as it is personnel. As long as we don’t leave gaps all over the shop we should look a damn sight better.

I don’t like it, but I’m willing to wait until we go a goal down before I flip my lid.

Emery or Favre are probably the best of the realistic names. Martinez would be a terrible appointment. It would backfire horrendously.

It speaks volumes that the most memorable moment of Lampard’s managerial career is his crying like a bitch when Bielsa sent a spy to Derby’s training ground. He might turn into a good manager, but the sum total of his achievements are a decent twelve months with Derby (matched Rowett’s league finish iirc) and an admirable season at Chelsea when they were under embargo. The minute they started signing players it went tits up. There rumours he was pretty aloof and fell out with a lot of the squad too. He’s not what we need in this current situation.

I’m not particularly sold on Fonseca, but Lampard or Martinez would be a disaster. I don’t think either of them would last the season.

Isn’t that what Wonga did when they “bought” the stadium naming rights and reverted it to SJP?

Nee idea, but he said Koeman was leaving Barca a month ago.

Renaming is a no-go for me. I didn’t hold up a banner that got the singing section kicked from Level 7 for someone else to come along and change the name.

The separation stuff is bollocks. The only thing that mattered was BeIN, they just couldn’t say that because they’d have to acknowledge they were lobbied in the first place.

I’m the same. Favre seems to have marginally more pedigree at the very top level, and even if he does lose his way after a few years he does seem to be able to get teams performing well and getting results in the shorter term. His stint a Monchengladbach is very similar to what’s required here.

We’ve been so disorganised for so long I’m completely at a loss as to how good our players actually are. Defensively we’ve been absolutely wank for some time and age is always a factor, but it’s virtually the same line up that Rafa managed to get a tune out of. I wouldn’t surprise me that someone coming in and imparting some pretty simplistic tactical instructions makes us look a lot more solid.

Managers are always going to stick up for one another in situations like this. There but for the grace of God etc. Still though, one of the most important managers for 100 years
