  1. 7 Non-penalty league goals and 7 assists in his last two seasons . I really don't think any of the elite clubs in this league will be daft enough to give us the sort of money we will want for him. If he does want a big move he will need to go abroad. He would be class in the Bundesliga as he would be up against a similar level of team he stood out for us against in the Champions League group games .
  2. Has been plenty of occasions when Tonali has lost the ball by misplacing a pass or not controlling it properly . He can't even beat the first man when he is taking corners at times . That's nothing to do with Eddie .
  3. I am not defending this season but have seen people saying we need a manager to "take us to the next level ". The next level for us is basically everything we have achieved over the last 4 years and no manager is going to be able to come in and improve on that.
  4. Our ceiling with PSR is basically challenging for the top 4/5 and maybe winning the odd trophy which is what Howe has done. No manager is going to be able to come in and improve on that with the PSR rules as they are. If you want someone to get us " higher than Howe" you need elite players and they aren't signing for us as we aren't able to pay the wages they can get elsewhere. If people want to change manager then fair enough but whoever comes in wont be able to do any better than Howe has done before this season.
  5. The idea that Mourinho would come here and win us a trophy is ridiculous, he hasn't won a meaningful trophy since he was at Man United about 10 years ago. If we sacked Eddie and replaced him with Mourinho it would finally show 100% that the people at the top have no idea what they are doing.
  6. This is where I am at now, I still think he deserves next season after everything he has achieved here but we just look a complete mess. That was a Palace reserve team who care more about winning the Conference League and they still beat us.
  7. Glasner will surely prioritise the Conference League over this. Very little to play for in the league and with him leaving them next month I doubt he even cares where they finish in the league now, however winning the Conference League to go with the FA cup will certainly elevate his standing as a manager.
  8. For balance he also tried to sign the likes of Ekitike, Joao Pedro, Mbeumo and Trafford but they all had better options. Even getting two of them would have transformed our season.
  9. Yep then in a few years time when whoever takes over hasn't achieved anywhere near as much as Eddie we will get the whole " We never hounded Eddie out" from the same numpties that did hound him out .
  10. Loads of the numpties online genuinely want Mourinho to replace Eddie, that alone should be a reason we avoid him at all costs and that's before you even look into the fact he hasn't succeeded in any job for about 20 years now.
  11. That's my thinking, no way will he be sacked . If he's going then it will be announced as a mutual thing before the last home game so he can get the send off he deserves.
  12. It's not that people aren't bothered , it's the mass hysteria it causes and demanding the manager is sacked because of it. Imagine Liverpool or Arsenal fans going on like some of the gimps in our fanbase after losing to Everton or Spurs . It just wouldn't happen . We can never be a serious club with the hysterics of the last week or so just because we lost to Sunderland .
  13. Don't necessarily have an issue with people questioning this season as a whole, its been a mess and totally unacceptable in the league but when people say stupid stuff like "oh he lost to Sunderland twice he has to go" it makes you laugh. As if everything Eddie has achieved here should come down to a couple of defeats to Sunderland, we laugh at them for being small time but the way people have gone on since we lost that games makes us just as bad.
  14. He seems to be getting a bit of a free pass mind especially since his agent is basically hawing him about to every club on the planet, which lets be honest he won't be doing without Sandro giving him the green light. He probably won't go on strike but is clearly desperate to leave and doing a lot to make it happen, even Isak gave us two good seasons before he fucked us off and acted the twat.
  15. I don't think Gordon will leave, he isn't good enough for an elite club especially with the money we would want for him.
  16. Yeah this, even last season when he was class I remember making post on here saying his only weakness is that he gives the ball away a lot. I don't know if he has done it more this season or if its just been highlighted/noticed more because of how bad we have been but even though he hasn't been anywhere near as good this season he is still the exact same type of player he was. As long as we get a good price for him I wont be totally gutted about him leaving in the same way I would be if it was say Bruno or Hall.
  17. It would leave a bit of a sour taste if he left this summer . Let's be honest he only signed for us originally due to the pending gambling ban which cost us a season out of him. . He was then excellent last season but has had a huge drop off this season . Then you have his agent hawing him about at every opportunity. I don't mind him leaving really if we get good money as I don't think he's irreplaceable but he has treated the club like shit for the majority of his time here .
  18. Pretty much this, don't really care who we sell this summer as long as we keep them two.
  19. No manager could get us to the next level whatever that is under the current FFP rules, if you want to challenge for titles which I presume is what you mean they you need the best players and you only get them if you pay the best wages which is something we aren't allowed to do. Our ceiling due to PSR is challenging the top 5/6 each season and having a decent cup run whilst maybe winning a trophy along the way.
  20. Spoke volumes that they started the match trying to waste as much time as possible, but even when they got back to 1-1 they knew how shite we were and stopped doing it as they realised they could win the game .
  21. I think its pretty clear he is obviously open to a move, don't think he will burn his legacy here and do an Isak but is no smoke without fire and all these reports clearly have some substance to them. He is also no different to any other footballer and one final big payday is something he will obviously want before he retires. It would sum of modern day football perfectly if he ended up at a cartel club because we aren't allowed to pay him the wages he can get at one of them. We still hold the power though and have no reason at all to sell him unless he does an Isak which would be a huge surprise if he did.
  22. Geogaddi

    Joelinton

Head and shoulders above everyone on the pitch yesterday , shame the rest of the useless twats couldn't match his level .
  23. At this stage in his career if he wants to go to Man United then it's basically for one last big pay day . He would obviously throw away his legacy here if he did force a move but that's how football is now, it's all about money . The fact we could give him a last big payday but aren't allowed to is a disgrace.
  24. It would be absolutely sickening seeing Bruno in a Man United shirt .
  25. He just more than matched one of the top 3 clubs in Europe for a match and a half before class eventually told , I love him me .
