Absolutely nothing to worry about , we have about ten fit players including 17 year old kids , Eddie will sort it and we will be 6/7th at worst .

It's a weird one , literally nobody has done Eddie over two games like Dortmund have and I don't even think they are that good. They will probably get to the second round / quarters at best , even an awful Chelsea team knocked them out last season, is just one of them things . No blame at all on Eddie for me .

Even more impressive when you see the teams we have lost to since the start of last season. Brighton in 7th are the lowest placed team to have beaten us in that time , you basically have to be one of the best teams in the league to beat us . We don't lose to mid table teams or relegation fodder .

As good as that Barcelona team was it was still Messi who elevated them to another level .

Man City would have won the league and fa cup without Haaland , Maybe not the champions league but I don’t think they necessarily won it because of him . Messi pretty much single handedly carried Argentina to winning the World Cup and without him they probably wouldn’t have even got out the group. I really don’t understand why people are complaining about Messi winning it.

If we are taking the match seriously and want to go through it should be the same team we put out against Wolves but switch Trippier and Burn for Tino and Hall to give them a rest . If we are starting the likes of Ritchie then we have no intention of progressing.

Agree with this, have seen a few people saying we need a third striker but I can’t think of another team in world football that have 3 genuinely good strikers that consistently rotate with each other . It’s just not possible. If anything we are very lucky we have two top class strikers as not many teams have that even.

Just out of interest those that basically want us to throw this game / rotate / play the reserves , would you be saying the same if we were playing Dortmund on Wednesday instead of Man United ?

Comparing Eddie to Ten Hag, look where we were when Eddie took over compared to where we are now then do the same with Ten Hag and Man United whilst also looking at the cost of each squad, it’s not even up for debate who the better manager is.

We will be top 7 regardless of the result against Arsenal.

I would rather win on Wednesday than beat Arsenal like, if we knock Man United out we have a very realistic chance of winning this trophy looking at who is left in it. We will likely play the reserves on Wednesday get beat and then play a stronger team against Arsenal and still get beat anyway.

Surprised we are odds on for this,draw won't be a bad result.

Yeah normally wouldn’t mind a smaller club breaking into the top 4 but Villa have some sort of weird hatred towards us that makes it hard to like them .

Villa have had a good start but have been demolished by us and Liverpool in the two hardest games they have had .

We have only lost to teams in the current top 7 going back to the start of last season , you have to be a very good team to beat us and I see no reason why that’s going to change , take away the Villa and Brighton away games and you basically have to be elite to beat us .

They will attack us which will play into our hands ,4-1.

Think with Phillips is if even Pep can’t even get a tune out of him and he was coming back from pre season overweight and unfit you have to question his attitude and commitment .

They will make it hard but it should be a comfortable home win. I am at the point now where barring Man City, Liverpool and Arsenal I go into every home match confident we will win.

He’s elite but at the same time Doesn’t seem suited to playing up front on his own but it also feels like he’s wasted on the left , not really sure what the solution is.

Spurs have massively out performed pretty much every stat going to be where they are , no way will they keep that up all season.

By all accounts Eddie was desperate to sign him and he was scouted for months , have no doubt he will end up being class based on them facts alone .
