The problem yesterday for him was that it was very physical game and Wan Bissaka at RB is great defender 1v1. Never really got going.
-
We have been awful after going 4-4-2. No cohesion
-
How many times Longtaff has been dispossed?
-
We are not going to lose this one. They are so bad.
-
So my new guess is B-C-E-D-A Chelsea one is giving me a headache. Surely the way you are asking it means they were the first, and Arsenal certainly did it with Wenger at the start of 2000s.
-
I have to admit here that I am quite a serious pub quiz player here in Finland, so I am trying to reason this one: A- This must be around 2000? B- Have they been counting assists already at the start of EPL? I remember it started later and 3 assist is a lot. C- This has to be 90s Shearer or Sheringham or someone like that D- Would guess somewhere during their Abramovich era ? 2002-3? E- 1998 about
-
I try, with no knowledge whatsoever: C-E-A-D-B
-
Believe it or not, I saw Yanga-Mbiwa start against Finland in 2012. Game ended 0-1, the goalscorer? Abou Diaby... Thanks everyone for participating. Next time I try to come up with an easier one.

Cabaye is a right answer. 1 missing. So these internationals have not played in the same team (other than Newcastle), that hint was for the Fulham players. So just think a French International who played for us between 2010-2020 who is not Sissoko or Thauvin.
-
Bloody hell. Had to check this one. He also is a Runner up but was not in the squad against Finland. So not a right answer.
-
Nope. Good shout though, I would say he was a flop for us as is the other guy I am asking.
-
And he is the other Fulham player. Well done. Missing: 2 French internationals, that have played for France against Finland in a qualifier (in Finland). Other one is a Euro Runner up "winner". And they have represented NUFC in 2010-2020.
-
yea, i edited the post that has answers. He is one of them And well done with Malbranque. I remember that he scored against us, but seems like he didn't.
-
This is the other one who played for Fulham against Haka. And was brilliant.
-
Fucking English date system. 25th October 2008.
-
Nope. I make it easier and reveal that all 4 players that are missing are French.
-
Nope. I meant all these players have played during this century, so they aren't age old guys. Sorry for making this even more harder . And Andersson & Tomasson are not right answers.
-
True, it is too difficult. So the missing European game players are 2 players, who played in the same PL team against a Finnish team, and represented NUFC between 1998-2001. (in this same game, I also saw one future mackem play. The mentioned mackem got an assist against us for Sunderland at SOL in 2010. We lost 2-1, Richardson FK winner) Missing internationals are from a successful international team and other one of them is Euro Runner up. And both of them played for us in 2010s. Seems like both of them are retired now. edit. Tavernier and Ba are not right.
-
Hamann is right. Played in the same game against Haka 2001. Cannot remember seeing Moore or Lovenkrands 2 missing european game players played for the same English team. See if this helps enough.
-
You are guessing right player but a wrong game. I saw him score a hat trick for Liverpool against FC Haka in UCL qualification game in August 2001. Right players: 3 international players: - Kuqi - Yohan Cabaye - Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa And European games - Owen 2001 - Hamann 2001 - Louis Saha 2002 - Alain Goma 2002
-
Terrific guess, but he was on the bench against Finland according to TM and I wasn't at that match anyway. (At least cannot find any other game he might have played here)
-
I can give you hint already that they were not playing for a Finnish team, but for the away side.
-
They have all made appearances for NUFC. And if Wikipedia is to be trusted, all of them except the mentioned Shefki Kuqi and the one international player who was a flop, have also scored for NUFC.
-
Kuqi is the obvious one. International players 2/3 missing. Same nation in 2010s. Other was a flop for us and the other superb. edit. And the country is a one that usually has success, so don't think about georgians or azerbaijans of the world..
-
This might be ridiculously difficult, but nevermind. I have seen 4 players, that at some part of their careers have played for NUFC, to play competitive European game (Qualifier) in Finland. (In my knowledge NUFC has never played there) Name the four players. None of them are active anymore, but have played in this century. And all of them have caps for their National team. In addition, I have seen 3 players that have at some point played for Newcastle, to play an International Qualifier in Finland. 2/3 of these are from 2010s and 1/3 2000s. Name these. 1 of them is obvious. Additional hints given if (and when) required.
