Fullbacks really are a problem. Trippier is not going to play 3 games a week bombing down the wing, and Livramento and Hall being injured takes so much away from out attacking play. We had chances to win today, after the equalizer it was next goal wins. We had enough chances there to win it.

That might be a part of the problem, but when we drop to 4-5-1 and the opponent plays a slower attack, one of our Cbs has to step up when there is a player between the lines, of then one of three has to drop there. We played this same system 22-23, and the midfield 3 ran back hard to press when the opponent found space there, now they (especially Joe) is not doing that well enough

And again the same problem. One pass bypasses our whole midfield and the opponent gets to our box.

This is on Howe now. It is exactly the same problem that we have had against Villa for example. Flat 3 in the middle, player moves behind that trio, centre back plays through the lines and then we go. It has been a problem for us for at least 2 years. Ffs how it hasn't been fixed!
