I mean, as a Finn I remember everyone being mental when Kosovo played 1-1 with us, and we are crap.
-
That is actually a good list, since only Norway and Sweden, and in some cases Denmark are part of Scandinavia. Returning to topic, would really like Bruno and Tonali getting a rest today.
-
Sweden is ”a harmless nation”? Unpopular opinion here I would say…

These things are also about training. I mean when gets to the byline, Nick and Gordon (and Bruno and Joe) need to be doing the right movements. That requires practice and patterns. Woltemade was often linking the play and quite far away when the ball got to Elanga, so he had lots of ground to cover and their CBs where holding him quite strongly. Gordon was nowhere to be seen.. And yea, he just needs to use his pace. He has the fullback done everytime.

Out longer than reported (Downie) BREAKING: Yoane Wissa has suffered an injury set-back — with his knee problem set to keep him out for LONGER than initially thought. The initial 4-5 week injury has now been extended to 8 weeks. So the 29-year-old’s return date is now expected to be the start of November, for the matches away to West Ham or Brentford. Wissa saw a specialist this week who pushed back his return date. The striker of course has yet to kick a ball for the club in either a match or training. #NUFC

Does he ever tire? It so ridiculous seeing him sprint forward at the end when he has been playing 90 minutes every game

Union Saint-Gilloise vs. Newcastle United: 1/10/25 @ 17:45 (TNT Sport)

it was a bit of a joke. I have to admit depends a lot of the game. Been going to quizzes for a loooooong time and hosted (is that the right word in English in this case?) hundreds. Wouldn't miss my local team's game but maybe something like LC game against Bradford I can miss... sadly every single time I have been to UK I haven't been able to get in a pub quiz. -

I would start with Ramsdale and Schär-Burn. Miley-Tonali-Bruno middle -
Now also Electronic Arts is sponsored by the worst regime (Tbh I could argue that there are couple worse) on the planet. I hope if you play video games, or some of your friends, they also boycott EA games totally, because of the murdering regime. Oh wait, yea, no one in the West care at all. Is it sad? Yes. Can you actually do something about it? Pretty much no. But when you can bash supporters of other football clubs, certainly you should seize the moment and tell how shit other supporters are, because they do the thing that millions of other people so and don't bat an eyelid.

With Elanga, it just takes a while that Eddie gets him in the system. Same happened with Gordon and Isak. No worries there. Our transfers were not great, but the squad is stronger. Wissa injury is a sickener, Woltemade can play in 4-4-1-1 with 2 CM or with Joelinton LW. He offers flexibility. Bruno has been awful, but I think the bigger problem is we have been too defensive at the start. Lacking our normal intensity and pressing.
-
I think in both cases the decision is that they cannot say for sure. You cannot see a clear change of direction from Salah's arm and you cannot 100 % say that it didn't hit Gabriel's shin and bounce from there, so in both cases ref's call stood.
-
Yes he was, and I thought it was because of the set piece threat and that is why Lascelles came on. I think we were just parking the bus too early. But Arsenal was a lot better than Liverpool for example. Wissa's situation is sad because we really have no quality option up top other than Woltemade. Hall was sick?
-
Especially Eze was great. They are really challenging this year it seems.
-
Some times yes, but mostly it seems we just back up too much. At start when there is energy it may work when WBs can press. Burn as LB cannot run up and press, so these decisions affect the way we can play. I think Howe is trying to grind out results while still bedding in some key players.
-
I think our back five means we give up the possession totally. It's never 3-5-2 or 3-4-2-1. Its always 5-4-1 and very defensive. Or 5-3-2 but we drop so deep and offer so little counter attacking threat.
-
I don't think they were "incredible". The low save from Eze shot was great, and maybe Timber header. Others I would say a GK is expected to make. One of his best abilities is that he pushes the balls out of the danger area very well.
-
I mean sometimes we get an easy penalty or ref misses something to our benefit...
-
Naah, it is gone. I am a bit tired of this ref this and that shit. Sometimes we get advantage, and no one says anything in this topic. Sometimes when decisions go against us, there are 5 pages of rage posts here. But it is the same with every fans, I know.
-
Well, I am not bothered to try to watch it in slow mo again. Usually these things even out, we were awful today. And I would say Joelinton was happy to stay on the pitch after his sarcastic applause to the ref.
-
Ok, the way I (and seemingly VAR) saw it, it hit Gabriel's arm after hitting his shin. Anyway, I think these penalties would be total shit, if against us or for.
-
Of his shin onto his arm? Like I said?
-
I think after Pope he was our best player today.
