Exactly. Was arguing with him when he brought him on from the bench and all that.

We really need players who can receive the ball in between the lines. Ramsey is not exactly that.

That was all Schär. Needlessly gives the ball away and they get a counter out of nowhere. -

VAR overturn coming ? -
Amorim has made them harder to beat, but that attack is so flat it will cost them a lot of points.

I would say he was clearly starting because of this. Spurs played long a lot and he was winning most of them. Same as Tonali often playing left of a three instead of Joelinton to cover up against Kudus. When it was clear Hall had that covered, he wasn't needed there. -
Still created 2-3 great chances…

Aaron Ramsdale: return to Southampton confirmed
KingArthur replied to The Prophet's topic in Football
It does go in slow but he doesnt expect it to come past 2 defenders. He reacts too late bc he thinks defenders have it covered. -

Yea, that is biggest difference to Pope. Seems to stay on the line too much. -

I dont think the second goal is his to blame. Somehow two defenders miss that and ot bounces behind them. it came behind a lot of bodies. -

Easy pen but Burn is getting the ball without that. -

First goal might decide this one. Spurs have nothing going forward, but can see us scoring if they park the bus even more. -

He is overactive. Good shotsopper but prone to mistakes. Not a top3 keeper in PL. -

Pickford doing Pickford things. First the corner before that was totally his fault and then lets that go in. -

Joelinton not following his man. Same old problem when he is in midfield. -
What a penalty for Sunderland
-
No, I dont think that at all. I just don't think it is realistic with our away form. I think the main thing is to qualify and then it is down to luck.

We have what, 2 away wins this calender year so win against team that won yesterday at Emirates doesn't seem likely. And why this loss makes it hard? So 2 defeats makes it "extremely hard"? The league table is such a mess. Other teams have really easy fixtures and we played our easy home games already. 16 points was enough last season, win last night and we would have 12. That would mean 4 points from Leverkusen and PSG away and PSV home. I would say even with a win yesterday 16 points would have been extremely hard.
