  1. Darlow is basically confirmed to be joining Hull/Huddersfield (I forget which) today, right? Only other one I could see movement on is Fraser.
  2. Think the issue would be Tielemans would want £120k+ a week, which I'm not sure we'd want to be giving him. He is going to wait till Summer to get that huge signing on wedge from someone.
  3. I imagine this window feels a little odd in that this season was always earmarked as a transition season. Probably always planned to shift deadwood in Jan, but never expected to be in a position where we'd have a CL push to sustain. I think Gordon was done because he was clearly a long term target who became available. Ashby (Frensda flirt aside) the same. I don't think they will do any sort of panic move today. If Gallagher is someone they genuinely want they will do it. I suspect they may instead keep their powder dry till the Summer then make a big push for Maddison.
  4. Good to know it's not only our training ground that looks a little... dated on the outside.
  5. They had Everton basically setting the value for him yesterday with that bid. Doubt they will take anything less than 45m. We may be able to do it if they will accept an offer for paying over time, but why would they do us a favour.
  6. I feel there may be an attempt. There is movement in the CM space. Fernandez to Chelsea, Caicedo to Arsenal now seems on. Domino effect could lead to movement on Gallagher now Chelsea can't rely on offloading Jorginho to Arsenal to make squad space.
  7. Yep. Imagine it will go to the wire, but they will be largely left with no choice once Fernandez gets done.
  8. Wood and Frasers wages being off the books means even with Gordon (and potentially Ashby) coming in we will end the window with a healthier looking wage bill.
  9. Could be wrong, but I think he meant in terms of their survival hopes.
  10. Suerly new contract related now his agent is getting in on the act.
  11. I actually think (depressingly) Dyche keeps them up. It's a suprisingly competent appointment. Obviously Everton fans seem gutted as they think they should be appointing 'elite' managers, but he is the best realistic option they had. He will make them hard to beat, and they will will scrape survival. Then next season when he has them playing solid but unspectacular football and they sit around 14/13th at the mid-season point they will hound him out.
  12. I don't know. I feel like previously Dyche has had the attitude that he doesn't want people who don't want to be there when at Burnley.
  13. Could be going 'to say his goodbyes' Which would mean this saga still has at least another 3 weeks to run....
  14. I believe Sean Longstaff supports Raith Rovers.
  15. How about their attitude toward him?
  16. Jesus, them ending with Wolves and Bournemouth. Have a feeling Wolves will be clear by then, but both could be huge 6 pointers.
  17. No one really knows for sure. That being said, once a move gets this close it's in no ones interest for the player to be training this close to the move.
  18. Kind of gutted the Everton away game is as early as it is (25/4). Would love to have gone there and relegated them. Ideally with Gordon scoring the winner.
  19. Would you have said the same thing about Paqueta if he had pulled this? Or Maddison? Or Botman?
  20. The shite people come out with just because it's a transfer they personally don't want to happen.
  21. Everton fans are the absolute fucking worst.
  22. This may get done tonight/tomorrow now. Once it gets to this stage it really is in the selling clubs interest to conclude negotiations ASAP.
  23. There's no way Levy will sanction parting with this kind of cash for Gordon. He's currently in the process of trying save every last penny he can with that Porro deal.
  24. Absolutely. Think this will likely be done one way or another by the weekend. We also need time to pivot if we decide to walk away.
