but we didn’t less than 18 months ago and yes I know why but as much as I dislike some elements of it football is a business and you can’t not look after your loyalest customers. I get and respect people who’s life situations have changed and totally support the reimbursement of LP fir those who gave up STs in protest and now have returned. I also feel for younger fans but a generation ago many youngsters were in the same position during the mid 90s. A ground expansion and a decline in fortunes helped alleviate that. It might take one of those (praying the first) to make the situation better for this eras younguns

Does anyone keep a record of which end we kick off attacking. We kicked off towards the gallowgate versus Soton which is rare we usually if given the option kick off towards the leazes and then towards the gallowgate 2nd half (at least since the 1980s it might have been the other way when the Leazes was the main end). iirc it’s also done due to a slight decline towards the gallowgate end for tires kegs second half. anyway I digress but it seemed strange watching them defend the GE 2nd half not attacking it.

They might have incorrectly assumed that once the NUST board were asked they would have canvassed their members opinions or had some insight. In reality they prob sent them an outline of what they were considering and Brian Blessed and his pals looked to see which pot they fell in and then said "fkin class" and give the club the thumbs up.

You are 100% right I think @TheBrownBottle said it best a few posts up: "To me, a supporters trust’s board should view itself as a group of delegates, not representatives. They should simply be there as tribunes to deliver the majority views of the membership, not to give their personal views without the express support of the majority - i.e. act as a representative. I cannot picture Martin, Hurst or Robson keeping their personal views to themselves, nor in viewing themselves as simply delegates to take the trust’s views to the NUFC board - they want to be heard, want to feel special, want to schmooze. The fact that they’d clearly never thought that their position on the board might raise eyebrows is testament to their egos - I mean, we really shouldn’t give too much of a shite who is on the board, as I’d expect it to be filled with otherwise anonymous supporters. " I hope it won't take the club too long to clock on to their standing among the wider fanbase and not the RGS / Church High old boy / girl network
