  1. understsbd the point about your stepdad but xenophobia is hating people of other nationalities. A nationality generally isn’t synonymous with race. You could technically be one and not the other (you hate Germans but don’t see Asian people as superior to Caucasians) frequently the 2 are codependent as both are based on applying (negative) characteristics to large groups of people you haven’t all met. The Sun and Mail have a lot to answer for in putting a faux enemy in the sights of many disenfranchised groups in left behind areas in the UK. A race to the bottom and pitting poor against poor.
  2. He’s been on blockbusters..
  3. This. I mean I’ve been stood it sat in some part of the gallowgate since 1985 so wouldn’t even want to consider a move to another part of the ground let alone a new ground. Although I concede we need a bigger ground to accommodate younger fans. Do we still have the highest average age of season ticket holder ?
  4. Might need a new thread title ".'sort of / might be famous one day' Newcastle Fans"
  5. apart from any prospective transfer targets… My little part of fawdon looks lush on days like today
  6. It’s one tradition the PL seem to have stuck with and as there’s no trains running on Boxing Day it helps massively with away travel. Used to be one of my favourite away days although our recent record (like most things until this season) isn’t great

Nearly as good as my mate James Lowery who used to join the Happy Cats (band fronted by Marty Craggs ex Lindisfarne) on stage to do it! Some of you might know James was at every game home and away until Ashley showed his true colours
  9. like a footballers equivalent of “im foaming, can’t say why too many snakes on here. Inbox me hun xx” ?
  10. People will know who it is - and it isn't done for financial gain - in some ways there has been an element of altruism in helping fellow fans out. Even under Ashley popular away games were hard to source tickets for if you didn't have loyalty points.
  11. Loyalty points / access to away tickets is the reason.
  12. I think this is probably aimed not at people who share their ticket with a family member but the very minor number of fans who have 15 plus season tickets in their name. I know of at least 2 and one who has something like 40...
  13. Mrs Cassidy (my mates nana) is a legend though - remember when she interrupted the post match press conference after the Bowyer - Dyer scrap
  14. If only Ikon was open mate - bouncing round to DJ Sammy with some charver lasses brushing each others faces with their lizzy duke rings. Just breathe it in, life changes, and often for the better my friend
  15. Thanks Daveed love you too. From not Neil Cox

We must be like Sunderland where none of their fans actually live in Sunderland.... I agree if you're commuting back to the midlands I can understand why on an evening game you might want to get a head start but surely 90% of match goers live within a few miles of SJP. That post match pint in the Bulls tastes better if you've not missed half our goals...
  17. I’ve not had anything and my details are correct too

we had one - “he’s a great lad, he’s a canny lad, he’s a sight for sore eyes, we’ve got Kevin keegan signed for the magpies” just replace KK with a current player
  19. Aye I second this. At Brugge I ran into a young lad who had travelled without a ticket and had never been to a European away so I gave him mine (for face value). as it turns out watching in the square on the big screen (with a couple of thousand ticketless mags)they put up was more enjoyable that the escorted 2 mile walk to the ground before and after the game.
  20. You can prove anything with facts mate
  21. Jesus some fkin pissy pants on here like. I’d have taken a point at Leeds all day, they’re fighting for their lives and not as bad as their position suggests. Still think we will get top 4 but even if we don’t let’s hope msn city win champs league but even if they don’t,,, it’s been a class season love thus team and manager abd we will get better and better.’ Newcastle United will never be defeated we will support you evermore

I know their reputation precedes them but that’s nowt really in the Achebe if things. Their decent fans are good crack. Every club has its idiots and unfortunately because of millwalls misadventures in the 80s every 2 can Van Damme from the entire south east tags along it’s not just Bermondsey knackas.
  23. we also nearly signed Chris Armstrong (looked like he had potential tbf and a local lad) ahead of Sir Les too
