  1. I've just seen this which does point to us looking at similar players. I personally think we're done in the market. However I'd be happy with this guy as signing based on watching him tonight, seems to be quite effective at creating chances, not so fussed with beating someone but instead make space to play the ball in. Good little player.
  2. Oh that was just me saying anything happening wouldn't be until after the game, because they would be focused on that. The rumour is just a bid accepted. Not player agreed.
  3. Could make or break my itk career. Just going to sign up under a new username if things go bad.
  4. Found someone mentioning it on twatter. Also mentions the PSV forum guy in the comments.
  5. Don't shoot the messenger.
  6. After their game on Wednesday.
  7. Just asked him and its a similar situation to our own ITK, Pizza Rob. Someone on a PSV forum that seems to get a lot of oddly accurate info basically. Take it with a pinch of salt, but he says its a very well trusted source.
  8. He's saying the price that's being quoted is madness for him, considering what Gakpo and Madueke went for. Doesn't seem to rate him much. I don't watch much Eredivisie, assuming you do with the "Yes please". You like him?
  9. PSV fan I know has just messaged me to say we've apparently agreed a fee for him, but the player hasn't decided yet.
  10. Their midfield looks significantly weaker this season without Caicedo and Mac Allister. Tonali to dominate. 0 - 4
  11. 5 years in the PL with Bournemouth. So most of his games against top managers have been with a relatively weak squad, where his team would be expected to lose. Even with us he's still going up against someone that's been able to refine their squad and influence their style over a long period, all while spending big money. Two recent fixtures, three if you count Emery (some would) as top managers. First game we were lethal. Second against the best, they respected the fuck out of us to play that way and we kept it at 1 - 0. Third, we should've won, but small margins and this level. Which ever way you look at it, worst case is he's not very far off a Pep or Klopp.
  12. Haven't been registered here that long, so seeing a few particular reactions on here for the first time. You'd swear Eddie has been here many many years and we've caught up with the spending of the Sky six. In reality, the new owners have only been in the door for five minutes, and as Eales said, it was another opportunity to build a club from basically scratch.
  13. How can there not be a rivalry between us? Are they trying to finish in the top 4, yes. So are we. That's a rival. If we get towards the end of the season and it's between us and them for the last CL spot, just like last season, then they will be rivaling us for it. Internet fanbases are dreadful, including ours. There's though is something else, plus the moaning manager, the shitty results last season, its hard not to want to fuck these up!
  14. Thirteen Newcastle players have been sent off in Premier League matches against the Reds, the second highest tally in Premier League history after Everton's 15 against Liverpool.
  15. Sounds like saints fans loved his performance, changed the game when he came on apparently. Hopefully he keeps it up and we can get a fee somehow.
  16. Because with hope comes disappointment. Still like your scenario though!
  17. Bet Eddie is buzzing to find out which teams he's going to be analysing! Little nerd.

  20. Howe has said in the post match interview that Murphy's wife is having a baby, so that's why he wasn't in the squad.
  21. I know they just win all the bloody time, but I find them lot so fucking boring to watch personally. Yes it was only 1 - 0 but it barely felt competitive, just like most of their games. I like the other team to have a go back, but City just take that element out of a game. Fair play. Our lot will have some frustration to let out on Liverpool after that.
