Re atmosphere debate. I thought it came across alot better on TV when watched it back this morning than when I was there pissed up. Was times in block 134 2-0 trying to get fans going people look at you funny. I do think so many just there to get a pic these days. Its a tough one Wembley as different parts stadium are singing different songs etc. In regards to those sitting in the top tier that was fucking embarrassing, absolute cringy as it comes but reality is we will have people who supported us for 2 years getting match tickets. What doesnt probably help is we never had a sniff really or a "good patch". If we would of scored just one it would of been different conversation. like to see Targett and Gordon come in v City.

Diagree to some extent though, as Burn, Schar and Botman yet to score a header and all had some cracking chances. Although worst out the 4 lascelles probably the best header of a ball.

Why do people find it hard to understand and moan, thats why club are exploring safe standing to cater for all. Also why shouldnt people not stand up for corners free kicks etc, its the excitement of the game surely.

The lack of standing and lads up for it stood together is also to blame for lack of songs. If you have 5k together you would hear likes of below: We are geordies cock of the north We hate nottingham forest Fullwell end Etc etc. I think a big factor is we have bunch of fuckwits who think because we sell out this season we got class fans which is embarrassing. Forest, leeds everton villa etc all sell out with little succcess but some of ours fans fucking bum over it.... If club dont introduce safe standing only thing i can see improving is if load of lads get like a fan group and meet at few pubs and walk up to ground together and hope it carrys.

Ive done every prem league stadium away and most arent great but ours should be given how much we have inproved. In fairness to grounds that were shite and have inproved old trafford, emirates etc they introduced safe standing and got lads sat together. That is only way it will inprove without a doubt.

Was gutted we never did seat moves this year as I was fancying getting in there where a few of my mates are. Over 19 seasons moved around loads for student prices, cheaper seats or to be with mates. Worst was the Mclaren side for me. We won a few games under pardew at least lol. Thr mclaren side was same formation and 11 week in week out. Thats why when some fans moan this season i often refer back to then.

Agree with alot of those points. But we had few Ashley mouthpieces. No more so than Shola and Bobby Moncur. The derbies in the Ashley era were awful. Felt like that 5-1 we had lads who understood game, sissiko etc looked like couldnt be fucked.
