Hope I'm not jinxing an injury or something, but given that we won't get a decent fee for him, I'm okay with him staying as a squad player for the next season as he has shown more positive signs this season. I don't trust us to get a better squad player for the type of money that we will get for him, and our budget is already tight in a very demaning window where we need to prioritize replacing a bunch of other players. I have a feeling that he will stay, unless he wants to go for some reason.

Willock so damn fast
-
Burn doesn't need to play well, he just needs to run around and maybe win a header or two, and then that's good enough.
-
It's just a random twitter account, you'll find all sorts of weird stuff on social media at any time for any topic.

That would be due to the restrictions put in place in that case. The money is peanuts for PIF.

Remember when our early struggles this season were blamed largely on not having Hall (and Livra) availbale due to injury, so that we had to play a 33 year old CB at LB? This was often used as a bit of an excuse for poor performances. Well, here he is playing Burn over Hall on purpose, something that was deemed a "massive handicap" earlier in the season when Hall was out.
-
Joe Willock at 1.86 is taller than every player in Bournemouths lineup that beat Arsenal (expect their goalkeeper). Then we also had Osula and Lewis Miley who are both around 1.90, both CBs being well above, and with most players being over 1.80. Really, I don't see it. Arsenal has scored 1 goal from corner in their last 9 before this one, mostly playing teams that has less height and strength than what we would even with Hall over Burn.

Was still a bad gameweek for Spurs this. Given the fixtures this was the one gameweek where we'd think that they would catch up a bit. Being in the same position after playing Wolves is a bummer, especially with more injuries aswell.
-
Watching Spurs today I'd also be surprised if they can get to 40p. 4p might be enough for them.
-
It's still Spurs vs West Ham. Reagrdless, a lot has been said about Howe being let down, but compare our squad with the teams around us.. Couldn't feel less sorry for Howe to have to work with a bunch of established internationals. Remember when Matt Ritchie was a key player for us?

Due to Forest winning, we are now 3 points above 16th, which means that our season is now much worse than it was before this game, despite us not even playing today. That's basically the "6 points from Europe" logic.
-
Gordon - 152 games, 39 goals and 28 assists Tavernier - 121 games, 19 goals and 18 assists Gordon is 2 years younger. We need more from our wingers, and Tavernier gives us less at peak age. 11 g/a is in a season is nothing special for a winger, especially as he's taking set pieces aswell.
-
He's 27 and would cost us 40m. It would just be another Ramsey type signing, who was also a "good player" (only that Tavernier is older). We need to be highly efficient with our money now, and this is far from that. Did anyone want Tavernier before this season? I don't see what special things he has done this season to change that, unless our standards have dropped massively.

That's so damn rough for Bournemouth.. They were 6th before that.
-
Sunderland would probably get relegated if they had to play in Europe midweek.
-
Remember when most of us were disappointed about having spent £25m on Chris Wood.
-
That's 1% of their summer budget gone.

It doesn't help that we usually start the season slowly. Last season we had no Europe and were poor until Isak went on a scoring streak in december or something like that. If Howe stays then I'm not sure if he survives the typical slow start that we've allways had under him.
-
Not many teams in the league had the luxury of having someone like Isak upfront for 2-3 years.. Our signings were incredible for the first 2 years. We spent maximum of what we could, with the headroom that we had from the Ashley years, and nearly every signing turned out to be great value for the money aswell. Player for player we've had a very good team thanks to signings that were done early on with the money from the new owners, and the leadership that they had put in place. Obviously this has really changed for the worse since Ashworth left.
-
Imagine trying to make anyone outside of our fanbase believe that. Good luck.

Howe has done really well today to keep Chelsea just 6 points above us.
-
6 points of 6th has very little to do with how well we've done. Rosenior destroying Chelsea has nothing to do with Howe. 6th place being 9 points lower than last season (and way lower than just about any season) has nothing to do with us.
-
6th place is 9 points worse off than what it was at this time last season. Usually 48 points after 33 games (which Chelsea have) means 9th. The requirement of points for top 6 looks to be insanely low this season compared to all other seasons, and this is the only reason why all these mid table teams are within range, so it's really frustrating that we're not even in the mix.
