  1. Some quite nice kits upcoming for Forest. Simple but I always like a button up and flip collar and the design is nice on the away kit though I’m not sure what it represents. https://www.footyheadlines.com/2024/12/nottingham-25-26-home-kit.html
  2. FYP It’s gonna be an awkward rebuild for Liverpool if TAA, VVD and Salah all leave at the end of the season. They’ll have to spend probably more money than they’ve got just to stay in the league.
  3. Gordon signed for them last summer n’all and hasn’t started for them yet
  4. Not watching the game. Please don’t tell me this is code for Tonali’s gone off injured
  5. No thanks, already proved he can’t do it in the PL and we’re not spending £50m on an Isak backup.
  6. He struggles with confidence Sean and they are pretty much the worst club he could choose for that. I mean they cheered Zirkzee off the pitch. They’re toxic as hell from top to bottom. I don’t want that for him. A nice inoffensive club like Palace or Fulham would be perfect, or Leicester/Southampton if he’d drop down.
  7. Oh please oh please oh please 🙏
  8. Nov ‘21 - Norwich City (H) Draw 1-1 - Eddie plays Joelinton in MF for the first time due to Ciaran Clark’s red card and with that a beast was born. Dec ‘21 - Burnley (H) Won 1-0 - Eddie’s first win as Newcastle United manager Jan ‘22 - Leeds United (A) Won 1-0 - The start of our revival and battle to stay up April ‘22 - Leicester City (H) Won 2-1 - Last min winner from Bruno means Eddie has achieved mission 1, staying up. May ‘22 - Arsenal (H) Won 2-0 - For the first time we went toe to toe with one of the big boys under Eddie and won. The bear pit like SJP feeding off the energy and passion of the players (and visa-versa) here is what Eddie’s NUFC has become known for. August ‘22 - Manchester City (H) Drew 3-3 - Another marker, another flagpole planted to say “we are here to compete”. Another sign of our increasing ability to bloody the noses of the “elite”. 3-1 up at one point, the “new” Newcastle United had the champions on the ropes. We were closing the gap. February ‘23 - Manchester United (N) Lost 2-0 - Another defeat in a cup final. We played the occasion and not the team in front of us. We vowed that we’d be back one day. April ‘23 - Tottenham Hotspur (H) Won 6-1 - We just absolutely mullered them. Never has there been such an efficient demolition of a Premier League football club. The game was billed as a Champions League six pointer but we had it won within 15 minutes. May ‘23 - Leicester City (H) 0-0 - Mission 2 complete; qualify for the Champions League September ‘23 - Sheffield United (A) Won 8-0 - We won eight-nil. Must be something about the city of Sheffield. Insane score line in a PL game no matter how bad Sheff U were. The last two seasons were starting to show that if you caught us on a bad day then we had the quality, tactics and desire to steamroll you. September ‘23 - AC Milan (A) 0-0. Back in the Champions League and a point at the San Siro. Unreal. October ‘23 - Paris Saint-Germain (H) Won 4-1 - Who the fuck is Kylian Mbappe? Eddie’s tactics were spot on. With PSG setting up in 4-2-4 formation we took full advantage. Nights like this. This is what they meant when they said “imagine what it’ll be like if this place finally takes off”. November ‘23 - Paris Saint-Germain (A) Draw 1-1. Winning until almost the last minute. PSG given a penalty for an accidental handball by Livramento. A handball which would only be given in Europe. We were robbed. ‘til we meet again monsieurs. November ‘23 - Manchester United (A) Won 3-0 - A win at Old Trafford doesn’t come with the same feeling or prestige of having vanquished a giant like it used to but still we turned up with a back four including Krafth, Dummett and Targett with Matt Ritchie also thrown in for good measure and absolutely trounced them. 70k turned out in expectancy only to be sent home with faces as red as their shirts by Eddie’s men. January ‘24 - Sunderland (A) Won 3-0 - The first NUFC manager to beat the mackems since Alan Pardew 13 years previous. Eddie’s side came and did a professional job on them. No fuss. No derby nerves. No caution or fear of losing. Just showed up and beat an average championship team without batting an eye. May ‘24 - Brentford (A) Won 4-2 - A win meant we qualified for Europe for the second season in a row until Man Utd’s FA Cup win snatched it away from us. This turned out to be a blessing as the reduced schedule meant we could more often field a full strength team the next season. November ‘24 - Nottingham Forest (A) Won 3-1 - A huge win in terms of chasing the CL and just in general as Forest have been an extremely hard team to beat this season December 2024 - Brentford (A) Lost 4-2 - Players have spoken about how harsh words were needed after this defeat. It’s clear the players weren’t putting in the required effort every week and something needed to change. 14th Dec ‘24 - 5th Jan ‘25 - The players stand up and are counted yet again, proving they have full faith in Eddie Howe with them going on a 9 match winning run. February ‘25 - Nottingham Forest (H) Won 4-3. A massive win in the race for CL football. A loss would have been a big nail in our coffin but Eddie pulls it out of the bag again. His teams always show up in the big games. The League Cup - Eddie Howe wins Newcastle United their first domestic trophy in 56 years, beating champions elect Liverpool 2-1 at Wembley Stadium.
  9. Shirley the team and trophy can just fit on BDB and we can have an open top piggy back parade
  10. Also let us get to the carabao cup final two years ago but then changed their minds because us winning would look too suspicious only 2 years into Saudi reign.
  11. Aye we booked a week in advance because that’s what big, well run organisations do, it’s also common sense to have it booked in case of a win than not book it until last min. Turns out a celebration involving thousands of people needs a bit more of a heads up than a knees up for not winning a cup final 40 years ago down the local social with only a few party poppers and sausages on sticks to have to worry about.

    Dan Burn

That was just the ball running away from Burn’s head
  13. F365 is the absolute pits. A Man Utd/“bIG 4” content farm perpetually perplexed by its own existence as a platform that both rails against “football capitalism” and finds succour in it. Their moral crusades might be more coherent and palatable if they also weren’t part of the “media” they so virtuously “watch” for us. They’d also sound more intelligible if they’d take the crayons out of their mouths when they speak.

    Game of the two Manquillo’s?
  15. It’s over for them. They’re living in their worst nightmare and it’s only gonna’ get worse. It’s glorious what’s happened in the 8 years since our promotion. They mocked us for going down, told us to “enjoy Burton - away”, then got relegated twice in a row (by Burton - away) spending four years in division 3. They’ve lost play off finals, got taught a lesson by us in the cup, featured in a Netflix series which made them a national laughing stock, were owned by the don and have become a very distant memory to the cognoscenti of the ever evolving Premier League. Everything they tried to convince themselves was not going to happen is slowly, one by one, happening. We weren’t gonna get a takeover, no good players would sign for us, Eddie Howe wasn’t good enough and we wouldn’t stay up, we wouldn't get into Europe, we wouldn’t win in Europe, we wouldn’t get to a final, we wouldn’t win a cup. The dominoes are falling Mackems. Your house of (season) cards is ablaze and stood atop its ashes is a boot. If you want a picture of the future, imagine a black and white boot stamping on a red and white shirt - forever.
  16. Will just feel weird playing football again after Sunday. We’re not the same club anymore. With that being said, 8-0. Burn x8
  17. Palace can do one now, we’ll go somewhere else. Huijsen or Zabarnyi

    Dan Burn

“Dan Burn has today retired from International football, citing his desire to win the fkng lot at Newcastle as the reason for his decision”.
