That fat fuck Marinakis has already pulled our pants down twice. Let's make it a hat-trick.
-
I wanted Conor Gallagher last summer as a replacement for Joelinton. I'd have taken him over Jacob Ramsey every day of the week.
-
The thing is they aren't getting battered week in week out. They've been in a lot of the games I've seen. Should of have got something at Arsenal and at our place. Drew at Spurs, should have won. Gave Liverpool a good game on Saturday. Don't get me wrong, they are shite. It's just that I dont think Man Utd are any great shakes, despite the slight upturn in results.
-
Alkmaar apparently have already knocked back Real Madrid's offer of 40m. They want more than 60m. I guess that rules that one out. I've not seen anything of him, but apparently he's a Kevin de Bruyne regen. Im not sure if that's because they both play a similar style or because they are both ginger.

Man Utd are shite. Wouldn't be too surprised if Wolves got something there tomorrow.

Who's daft enough to pay for porn in this day and age?
-
Makes it even more galling that we basically gave them 3 points.

I think they are waiting for the Super League to materialise. Of which they will be one of the major financial backers, on the understanding that a couple of Saudi League teams are allowed to compete in that competition. They know their own League is rubbish and will always remain so, no matter how much money they pump in. Therefore, I believe the end goal is to get their teams competing in Europe.

Perfect tonic for a virus, tbf.

I so wish we'd gone for Cherki.
-
Desperately need a win here to try and build some momentum for a European push. Sadly, I see a 1-1 draw between two very turgid sides.
-
Wasn't that the whole point of signing so-called Premier League proven players? That they would hit the ground running? We miss out on Europe next season and that will set us back a fair bit.
-
If he wants a creative midfielder, he will get one, especially now that he has, in Ross Wilson, his own hand-picked sporting director in the role. That he hasn't so far is because he hasn't wanted that sort of player. Rayan Cherki was available for the best part of 2 years, for example. Grealish is another who I think would have done very well for us.
-
Didn't we also try to sign Rodrigo Muniz? I wonder what's happened to him. We stumbled upon Woltemade, who I believe will be a very good player for us in the long run, but the rest of our transfer activity, apart from Thiaw, has been an utter shambles. From missing out on targets to other teams to paying over the top for dross that add next to nothing to the bottom line. In the world of PSR, I fear this window is one that will be causing us issues the for the next 2 or 3 years at least.

What are you on about? That's not a scarf, that's a tie.
-
No thanks. He hasn't looked the same since his injury, and the last thing I'd want is another injury-ravaged crock from one of the supposed Big 6 clubs.

Man Utd fans on Redcafe debating whether or not Benjamin Sesko is an upgrade on Hojlund. You love to see it.

I'd be happy with Europa League with next season. At least it'd be a competition we could realistically win. The Champions League has felt a bit meh at times this season. The format doesn't help. Maybe that will change once we get to the knockout stages.

What are you talking about? Plenty of people on here have been saying for yonks that we needed more skill and technical ability in the squad. This isn't something new. Plenty of people on here at the time expressed their skepticism when linked with Elanga for such a high fee, but were willing to give it a chance in the hopes that Howe could somehow work his magic on him. Unfortunately that hasn't happened yet. I know I've personally bemoaned Howe's preference for physical attributes such as pace, height and endless running.
-
We know this is what Howe values most, the physical attributes. He seems to have an aversion to flair and unpredictability. It's why he shipped off St. Maximin at the first available opportunity. It's for this reason why I will always love Keegan and Robson more, despite Howe probably already achieving more than they did.
