The result today really done me in like. Nothing is lost yet of course, and this season could still turn out to be a really special one, but I feel like we will get more results and performances like today mixed in with the good ones. Apart from the 9 game winning streak, the inconsistency has really killed us.

Get rid. Offers us nothing.

And the hardest to replace.

Villa can’t cope with the Champions League together with the Premier League. We struggled last season, and Forest will be the same if they qualify for it next season. Clubs like ours simply don’t have the squad depth to adequately compete in both.

It’s obvious we will have to sell one or two of our better players to progress as a club. PSR means there is no other way in the short term. Liverpool did it when they sold Torres, Suarez and then Coutinho. Spurs did it with Gareth Bale. We will have to do it as well.

Bournemouth are very good. I know the score line doesn’t reflect that at the moment, but they’ve been comfortably the better side today.

90m euros is a mad offer for Mitoma. Mudryk and Antony cost the same. That kind of outlay doesn’t really get you much these days, does it.

That and the loss against West Ham will probably come back to bite us at the end of the season, I fear. Both losses at home as well, which makes it even more galling.

What’s Ed Woodward been up to since leaving Man Utd? Perhaps he could do a job for us? Granted, he was clueless when it came to the football side of things, but seemed to be very highly thought of when it came to maximising commercial revenue streams.

The Villa squad maybe deeper than ours on paper, but I don’t see any genuine quality in there like ours. They seem to be stockpiling a lot of good to average players, that won’t really take them to the next level.

We could spend it, but would have had to sell one of our top players before June 30th 2025 to comply with PSR.

I hope Ratcliffe and co decide to show them ungrateful Man Utd fans just how horrible they can really be.

As much as we are all laughing at how bad Spurs are, I do hope they can overcome Liverpool in the cup semi. I’d fancy our chances against them much more than I would the scouse bastards!

Fuck, this is so boring. Not just us, but there hardly seems to be any eye-catching deals being done anywhere. Man City have bought a load of prospects, and that’s about it.

Hate this sort of shit. Defeats the whole purpose of building up a club properly, but if our rivals doing this, then we need to get in on it too. No point handicapping ourselves just so we can say we took the moral high ground.

I hope Southampton don’t get another point this season. Absolute waste of spaces.

I don’t care too much as long as the club are trying their best to be as successful as they can. That’s all I ever wanted after 14 years of Mike Ashley.

I know it may sound strange, but Barcelona, despite being skint, are definitely one of the few clubs who I could see meeting our asking price. Clubs like that somehow find a way to come up with the necessary cash.

It’s how they got to that revenue that pisses me off. It’s because of those cunts the authorities are now being so stringent with the likes of us and Villa. For years they took the piss, inflating their revenue with fake and non-existent sponsors.
