He might have been available to start if he wasn't fucked having played every game due to Eddie's mismanagement of the roster

Yeah I really fancy Portugal but can't get past the idea he's going to have Ronaldo playing every minute and get in his own way
-
Aye I got a 97pts earlier and called it a day, especially after the one before where I finished 3rd with a ridiculous team

The comms on Premier Sports 2 got a bit carried away

Ah sorry for the needlessly deep reply then mate In fairness, the old Arcadia units next door have been empty for years, so you never know....

I have absolutely no idea, I'm just spitballing and talking shite. I do tend to assume, rightly or wrongly, that businesses that are around for ages and never seem to actually be doing any business must have something going on, likewise businesses that seem to be overstaffed, such as the club shop at SJP today, which had about 6 people stood doing fuck all. It's basically an involuntary reflex at this point, probably some deep lying trauma from work!

Was there for the first time in a while today and was shocked to find the leather shop upstairs next to Boots has closed. No idea if it's just moved as I only walked to the club shop and back to M&S, proper end of an era, or the police finally found out what it was a front for, never seen anyone in there buying anything in 30 odd year

Kane should be nowhere near the team until at least the last 16

Given that Woltemade is his golden goose, his agent wants to be asking anyone with influence at the club which arse cheek they'd like him to kiss first so when Bayern Munich come calling in a year or two he gets his payday as easily as Anthony Gordon's just did

Absolute masterclass in body shape to get the badge in on the bottom photo

Is the lad they've signed from Kairat Almaty a winger aswell or a #10?
-
Only if the encroaching players are deemed to be interfering with play
-
Probably just seen someone who works at the club follows them on LinkedIn or something like the lad who started the Whoop rumour

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/cjdpd094lzmo FIFA coming up with bigger loads of absolute bollocks every day, I can't wait to see what they'll unveil next week

I suspect in a PL context there'll be some "nah he only plays 3-4-3" snobbery EDIT: Absolutely no idea if that's Glasner's "way" and the way he always plays wherever he goes or if he decided that's what he needed to do at Palace and was best for the players he had.

I'd go with Cunha, just about, for now, but I think he's probably as good as he's going to get and Rogers has another level or two he can go to. What do you think?

How about thinking about all the failed deals, rejections, and near misses that must go on that we never hear about? Up to you whether you take that as "well at least we don't hear every depressing detail" or "fucking hell we really are shit at this" Get well soon!

Good information, best make sure I get more beers in for my Haiti vs Scotland and Australia v Turkiye all-nighter

Aye, Phillips hasn't done himself any favours. That said, I think that transfer can probably only be put down to Man City signing him so no-one else did and Phillips being happy to take the coin, unless there was initially a plan for Pep to do something like play Rodri as a centre back who steps into midfield, which is what Stones' job became for a year or so whether from CB or RB. And when he signed they only then saw he was nowhere near. Phillips was arguably the second best CDM in the country when they signed him, probably alongside Fabinho, but there's no world where he (or anyone to be fair to him!) was ever going to take over from or be adequate cover for Rodri.
