Good shape without the ball, not on it with the ball.
-
Steady start, no thrills game till someone makes the first mistake it feels.
-
Got games which is the main thing. Think being with squad first half of season and loan 2nd half should be plan for him again. See if he then takes a step up where the viability of him being a back up LB for 26/27 is a possibility.
-
Do think if we could get Trafford / Guehi for £60m-£65m that would be superb business. Even more so if they were wrapped up by end of June. Then can leave circa £80m-£100m (depending who we can move on and how much we want to push things this summer) to sign RW / ST / CM. Which feels more than enough because they’re positions you can pick up good value.
-
What LW options are available and realistic? Like could Howe view Gordon / Barnes as a RW options and so it opens up LW as a buy? Which I would then be looking at Jamie Gittens.
-
He’s disappointed me. Wanted him last summer, but didn’t seem to make the step up I was hoping. He’s better off staying at Ipswich and getting some confidence back whilst still developing.
-
Guehi is leaving regardless and I’m sure Eze still has a release clause. Both I can see going, with Wharton in 2026.
-
Just looked at their results this season, 15 of their 21 wins by one goal. Wouldn’t fancy them in the play offs against anyone.
-
Going into play offs with 0 wins in 6 and potentially 1 goal in those games. Tasty
-
Chelsea are a bit shit too. Liverpool rotation, if they’re sober and still in a tactical shape that’s seen them win the league, should be getting a result against Chelsea.
-
Isak new contract also cements further to new big signings that our best are staying. He’s reaching levels where top players will want to play with him, because he will make them better players.
-
He’s still been one of their better performers, in a proper bat shit club that’s had no tactical nous or coaching for years. Rashford gets a proper weird bashing by many across the country.
-
Couldn’t care about Liverpool rotating and being off it. We get a point this weekend, win our homes games, we’ve got top 5. Comfortably in our hands which is all that matters. Regardless what happens this weekends. It’s still in our hands with 3 to go.

Rashford is a good signing for clubs if his wages were like £100k-£140k mark. But then he wouldn’t be leaving Man Utd if he was on that, because Man Utd would keep him because he can offer something. At his current wages, doesn’t make him look appealing to any club.
-
The final between them and Spurs going to be such desperation for both sides. Long term, just papers over the cracks because they’re both showing nothing form wise that worries me next season as league is the main thing. Also it reinforces why I have no sympathy for Man Utd fans when they moan about the Glazers, and it being tough for them. Going to be their 3rd Europa final in past decade.

That Forest defeat now makes a point at Brighton basically a win because of our GD.
-
Clubs to spend their time negotiating for those players, whilst we’re not and targeting other players to steal a March. When we’re linked that much in press with a player, I don’t see the move happening.

Electric car, and it makes rolling out of bed and straight to work more feasible. Especially if the car back seat has a shitter.
-
Ashby was a weird one. Signed at like 21 having hardly played any pro football.
-
There’s genuinely no-one I would want from West Ham. Bowen is the best, but he’s reaching age point where I think the best has been seen from him. Would just be signing a youth player if they have some top youngsters coming through.
-
So is it a case of resting and us hoping again he doesn’t need surgery? Then come July/August in pre season, he needs surgery and is out for say 4 months.
-
Pure filth that.
-
Clubs like Villa will spaff it though, so I don’t care. As long as we keep spending and getting right players, that’s all that matters.
