But overall he’s a 7/10 player. We get our use, but he’s not going to push us on as he’s remarkably average in a lot of games. Wissa is the same. Of our signings this summer, none of them scream “that will close the gap”. It’s more of, they’re good for our style, which when spending £250m+, you want something more.

This is a shit deal IMO. One, he’s a cunt cut from same cloth as Isak. Then we’ve signed him for £55m, all based mostly on one high output season. Moving forward, we need seriously scout better if we want to move forward. Not going to challenge the upper end spending £55m on fucking Wissas. It’s another Harvey Barnes.
  3. Any chance we could pull plug if we don’t sign a striker by 7pm? Do a Chelsea.
  4. They couldn’t defend though, we can, and got a far better manager. Our bottom floor is like 8-9th under Howe and this squad.
  5. It still requires a club to pay big though, not many in the world that can drop record transfer fees. If we was talking half the sum, even less if the player had one year left, I think our stance would be different. End of the day, it’s a fee that will be hard to break in the future.
  6. What moves for over £100m have ever worked out superb? He’ll be itching to move on in 3 years, so it’s a long wait till we can gloat, hopefully they have no titles to show for it by then.
  7. Want a Robinho style transfer deadline day move. Rodrygo arriving on the plane for attacking spot.
  8. Who do people want as the striker? Think giving all realistic names, I’d genuinely prefer Jackson Bit more pace to stretch in behind and could work with Woltemade well.
  9. Hopefully we can end window on a high after this and come back for wolves game in good spirits, win and use this as a catalyst for our season as a “prove doubters wrong” mentality. With the Isak money, if we qualify for UCL again, we could seriously make some massive strides with who comes in and genuinely target a title push for 26-27
  10. Trying to focus on positives moving forward, if we signed a striker for £65m, how much PSR headroom do we have moving forward for summer 2026 before sales? Based on us making UCL First Knock Out rounds, and qualifying for lowest form of European competition next season?
  11. Probably been agreed for weeks and stand off has been over Isak loyalty payment Cunt likely left it to last min to forego it as Liverpool were not paying a penny more.
  12. If we communicated to Isak we would sell regardless by end of window, why couldn’t the cunt have played for us till then? Or we offered no such thing, he went on strike, and we’ve caved anyway. Literally lose lose for how we’ve approached things.
  13. I mean, that would’ve never been a thing. Liverpool wanted both, and they got both. As soon as they got Etitkke after us and made a move for Isak, it should’ve been not selling to you and that’s it. Bending over at the end is unforgivable. They’re going to have to rely again on Howe, and him coming out and saying it was his decision to let him go as it was for best of the team.
  14. Will emphasise PSR again. If Liverpool get Guehi, that’s nearly £500m spent in one window ffs. They’re going to have either Etitike (£80m) or Isak (£125m) sitting on bench this season. How are we supposedly going to compete with that when we can’t spend the same, especially on wages.
  15. He’s supposedly signing a 6 year deal Hope the cunt has got a release clause in there. Really hope we get them at home in the cup.
  16. It’s going to be Larsen for like £67m isn’t it ffs. Hopefully we go wild and pluck out a CM on top and get Ousla / Willock out of the door too.
  17. Had 1 win in first 7 in 22-23, finished 4th. Lost 3 in first 4 in 23-24. Finished 7th. Start of season is meh, it's all about Sep-Dec.
  18. Guehi starting Fuck Liverpool, hope they end with no signings.

Wissa fall back after burning bridges could be a move to Saudi after Prem window closes.
  20. Nah, if you’ve got Hall tucking inside to help with build up and Tino staying deep to help with turnovers. Giving our increasing stature, more sides will treat us with respect and happy to give us the ball. We then need to be better with it and risk it more by having extra man in build up. Yesterday was smelly as we went defensive and it just led to nothing.
  21. Amazed Isak hasn’t been mentioned yet
  22. Look at that Liverpool bench and how shit this game is. We have to be holding the cards and saying pay £150m or deal with this till January at least.
