  1. Aye but if we're talking about buying one of them last season I'd have still said Semenyo is the more attractive option. Obviously just opinion. I'm not out on Elanga if that wasn't apparent in my original post. Do think he'll come good but does seem a bit limited at this current time.
  2. For £55m my expectations aren't that low like. I think Elanga will prove useful in time but my mind does stray to players like Estevao at Chelsea, Semenyo at Bournemouth. Hopefully Elanga can progress cause he seems like a good kid and fits the group.
  3. Just a likeable fella with a silky touch who gets on with his business. Quickly becoming many peoples favourite
  4. First half was dross. Could not do the simple things right on the ball and overall disjointed. Second half far better. Midfield and forwards actually working together, probably could have scored another 1-2. Thiaw and Botman absolutely fantastic and clear starters now.
  5. Need to be smarter with possession than we have been recently and not invite pressure.
  6. Love it mate. When I tune in what I really want to see is a 4x4 view so I can focus on my real passion of Wolverhampton Wolves.
  7. Now, let's not fucking camp in our own box for next 30 please. Keep the pressure on.
  8. You can see that extra bulk he added for CB too. He was never the quickest full-back when he played there but he's dire atm. Can't really blame Burn for Eddie / team needs for putting him out there.
  9. I'm firmly of the opinion that he'll never recoup or repay his value in terms of resale or output. Doubt he'll be this shit over the course of an entire season but happy for it while it lasts. Ekitike looks the real deal like. Our scouting has been sound.

Coincidentally, every Kenny I've ever known has been ginge like, including me Step-da'.

    NUFC Transfer Rumours

Honestly I'm surprised there's no mentions of fullbacks. I've felt the same since the season began, and now with Tino out and Hall needing lots of time management, it seems even more important. This may be the last productive season of Trips too as he's getting on. Ideally we can identify a fullback who can play both sides with a bit of pace.
  12. I think wor Elliott will play out his skin, Geordie players always do vs us. Huge game for our PL season before the break and eminently winnable if we can keep the same energy as the USG match. Looking forward to Ramsey and Wissa after the break too. Like new signings
  13. I think selling him is quite likely unless he proves himself essential. On a positive note, it seems those in charge feel the same vis-à-vis his potential. We had a buyback clause in the transfer originally, then shifted to a loan with purchase option before being cancelled. Hopeful if he continues to prove his worth this season and we do consider selling we go for a buyback again.

    Malick Thiaw

Tricky one. Realistically Thiaw is our future RCB and in this form should continue. Schär started the season well and was only dropped due to concussion so I can see him coming back in, Eddie being Eddie.
  15. I'd say Wolt for that honour. Pleasure to watch him like, proper silky with fantastic hold-up and good awareness.
  16. Good showing off the bench. Assisted the Barnes goal on the break. Took up some good positions a couple times where he'd likely been through on goal but Tonali/Gordon played the pass behind him. Keep it up lad.
