For a start, the cunts in VAR need to not be referees. The whole point of VAR is that it's as close to an objective/impartial view of on-field events and it's been clear as day this is never the case. The general public with a bit of training could do far better than this shite.

Crikey that's a blast from the past. Limewire Legend that she was. At least your Nana knew you could spot quality.
-
You'll cope Bobby lad. Just look at everything from the waist up and you'll see we were fucked regardless.
-
While true that he's still getting fit, I think the change in intensity for our press has been intentional. The only games we've tried the full press has been Liverpool and Barca at home. Even then, we only did it for a short bit and didn't really revert to it.

I'm perhaps one of his biggest doubters, though I keep it to myself usually. There's no chance he should be at the World Cup in his current form. My biggest issue at the moment is his physicality, don't expect him to boss people but often looks like he's not even trying. Our left wing in general is a shambles at the moment and surely part of our failings offensively.

Eddie could lose the next 5 and I'd still back him. He won us the cup and he's made us what we are. However, that doesn't mean he's immune to criticism.
-
I simply don't agree that Joelinton was the problem in this game. Once he was taken off the midfield dissolved entirely (we were already losing the battle), not to mention his importance in defending set pieces.
-
Please be alright lad. Barely care about the result if he's not fucked.
-
Was MOTM up till then. Awful end to the game, soul crushing.
-
Pope with a borderline MOTM performance for an hour or more and then that.
-
Don't you lot know that football is a non-contact sport in 2025? Arsenal should've had 3 pens already, clear as day.
-
Basically just a pass that led to a shot. Can see it as chances created. As comparison, Bruno had 4 in the game vs Bradford. Thought it was interesting that Longy was on corners for Leeds, they were decent too.
-
Wor Longy played superb vs Bournemouth today. 1 goal 1 assist 7 key passes won most his duels. Shame Leeds couldn't get more than a point.

Can't say am surprised like, I had Potter down as the first to be sacked this season. Obviously wasn't counting on the Greasy Greek melt down and sacking Nuno. Potter to me is a proper fraud, don't expect to see him in the PL again anytime soon but you never know with relegation teams.
-
I had to look this up cause I thought you must be taking the piss. Pretty surprised it hasn't happened yet just by chance. Impressive.

Even though am no spring chicken meself, it screams of old man shouting at clouds all this whining about expected goals (xG). We used to say they had 12 shots, 4 on target and no goals. If all of those shots were shite punts 25 yards out, even the ones on target, those 12 shots are pretty meaningless. All xG tells ya is whether they had meaningful goal-scoring opportunities. Used in combination with shot stats and other crap, you can build a picture of how the team performed. If you don't like analysis full stop that's fine I guess, but then just don't engage with it..?

You'll be waiting a long fucking time pal.

Now let Sunderland get absolutely spanked by Forest and happy days.
-
Get ready for an incredulous Slot interview despite being the refs favourites.
-
Isak looks shite Cmon Palace please. Glasner gonna end up at Man U or some shit
-
Yeah definitely. I'll defend him too when it has been unjust, same as I have done for Miley and co. For what it's worth, I hope Pope can keep this form because he is a part of why our defense is the best in the season thus far.
-
I'm not sure how to re-quote my old post sorry but I touched on this already RE his passing and form his season.
-
You're maybe reading things out of context. If you scroll up you'll see my praise for Pope and how I responded to others, saying Pope is our #1 on merit. To reiterate (I guess), if Pope is injured or makes mistakes Ramsdale will likely get chances, and I imagine he has the talent to hold the spot. Edit: If you mean next season, I think the club wants to move to a ball-playing GK and someone for the long-term future, but of course just an opinion. : )

Ramsdale (if we make the loan permanent) or another. I think the intent was quite clear with our interest in Trafford that we wanted a new #1. Obviously things can change.
