  1. I assume he’d be desperate to return and we could secure a favourable deal over others.
  2. They’re on a decent run but there’s still no athleticism in midfield and they remain slow and ponderous at the back. I’d be gutted if we finish below them. But Obviously when you combine Mbeumo’s talent with his fanatical zeal for all things Man Utd, they will be better.
  3. Be very surprised if Botman plays, surely let the cut heal? Be Schar and Thiaw (who would shift again to the left)
  4. This is why I always say don’t sell. His finishing alone makes him a crucial part of the squad.
  5. Jesus that’s a ludicrous amount of space for Welbeck to be in.
  6. Burn knows it, which is why he smacks the ground. He wasn’t ready for it. Our defenders don’t score anywhere near enough goals.
  7. That Burn chance towards the end. Know he’s a centre back but he had to be on the move before Sven wins the header. It’s a golden chance and he’s on his heels.
  8. My hope would be, if we have a good season again, Anderson would actively choose us over others. It would be really nice to on the right side of one those insufferable “player only wants x club” sagas next time.
  9. Him playing for Forest is constantly low level irritating, Man U links are very irritating, we have to try and bring him home in the summer.
  10. The I says Tonali, Livramento and Sven all in line for new deals when Wilson comes in Link
  11. Some of Forests signings have been outstanding value and the view inside the club (according to POTT) is he’s a great all rounder, an energetic presence and someone who will work well with Howe.
  12. As per reports, yes. They absolutely had us over a barrel.
  13. I didn’t say the thing you’re quoting me as saying. Odd. I agree with you.

He’s changing my mind, I wouldn’t let him go in Jan now, especially not on loan. Fair play to the guy, hope he can keep it going. If he could just add a bit more nous and footballing IQ to his game, maybe he can learn from Big Nick.
  15. I get what you’re saying, but I think what gets irritating is the level of hyperbole and fucking certainty. People were wrong about Burn. Wrong about Gordon. Wrong about Thiaw. Now that’s fine, but you’d think, that such a record might make folk more cautious about writing off players they don’t actually know much about in future. And yet it repeats. we’re still seeing it with Wissa. My bet is the doubters will be silent come season end, but we’ll see.
  16. We might be able to recreate the Shearer moment with Anderson down the line where he actively chooses us over a cartel side and my wouldn’t that be sweet after the summer we’ve just endured?
  17. Wow, you can’t name one Taylor Swift song, that’s pretty cool man. Still, it must be lonely not having any women in your life at all.

I’ve been a big critic of his, but if he can keep chipping in with the odd assist or goal here and there he’ll be doing exactly what you’d want from a third choice striker. I was impressed with the weight of pass to Barnes last night.
  19. On the flip side it could be more positive news that he wants to be absolutely certain on first.
  20. Their away win at PSV was alarming. I couldn’t see us scoring three goals away to anyone right now, let alone in the champions league. Hopefully Eddie has done his homework…
  21. Odegaard was class when he came on too. Their strength in depth is ludicrous. It’s been a gruelling start, we are not clicking but we are still being beaten by single goal margins (usually deep in injury time) by clubs that dwarf us resource wise. Hopefully a couple of results this week will send us into the international break with renewed hope.
  22. Love Joelinton but technically today he was just…not up to it.
  23. UEFA rules are different. The Anderson sale doesn’t count (cos it was really a swap for The Greek) and the St Maximin sale doesn’t count (because it was to a PIF owned club).
