Wissa is more than a speedster, a lot more and Having seen plenty of Parrot there’s little chance he’ll ever make a dent in the PL. I probably would have taken a punt on Ferguson though who I do think is a better long term bet than Osula.

“Bruno can’t play every minute of every game, for his own benefit,” Howe said.

I dunno on first view I got the sense he held on because there was nothing much on (he was looking) and all our players were heavily marked.

Well no, because Schar is definitely out. -

They have mics at their desks. They are meant to turn them on when it’s their question. They often just don’t do it. -
McTominay is a world beater in Serie A. Woltemade and Wissa > Hoiland

Don’t think it does for the period of time they are on about. -
Antonio 'Antoñito' Cordero (on loan at Westerlo)

Agreed. There was much consternation about Kuol’s bad loans, when there’s far more evidence to suggest that he’s just not very good. -
Mixed bag, he’ll come good again. He should have had two players sent off this season already because of his runs in behind.
-
Jesus Christ. “Terrible signing”. Come back at the end of the season and judge it.
-
It says after the international break so surely he’s out of Congos next games too.
-
Hope says he has a chance for Barcelona. I watched his video for you, you’re welcome.
-
I think they can stomach being beaten to the punch by Liverpool but not little old Newcastle. The line about our Saudi Arabian ownership being new at this and making mistakes is telling, how many bad signings have we made so far Phil?
-
Fans need to be patient and not get on his back. I’m really hopeful about him, not sure the premier league has ever seen his like before. It’s such a shame he has to be thrown in at the deep end immediately, but it’s also a chance to become an instant hero. Even a few vague contributions to goals will do for now.

Quite aside from the lack-of talent and mental strength, it’s the lack of athleticism that astounds me. If you’re as weak and slow as Cullen you’d think you’d be in the gym every fucking day. Collins looked hungover out there.

The times report suggests the Etihad agreement will go through this time based on this bespoke argument. Once it’s done once then they can’t stop us doing the same thing surely? -

The sounds broadly positive for us no? We can argue “bespoke” agreements do not need to correspond to “fair market value” as prescribed by the PL. -
These interviews are kind of a hiding to nothing. He’s not going to come across as a “man of the people” because he’s a super successful Canadian businessman. If he says a lot of specific things and they don’t happen instantly he’ll get loads of grief. If he keeps it high level and general he’s spouting cliches. he seems well qualified with good contacts, just hope he sticks around long enough to make some real progress.

So essentially NUFC fans on Twitter have cost the club £30M because they couldn’t contain their glee/astonishment at that fee being offered for Osula?
-
So wait a minute, you’re saying that football fans are…fickle? Severe victims of recency bias? Reactionary and often illogical?

Had high hopes for Heffernan coming in From Milan. Doesn’t look great… Was hoping we might see something from Park or Neave…

My reading: “some” believe in the here and now that we are worse off as an 11 sans the rat. It’s hard to argue. Let’s all hope Woltemade will be an even better fit but we’ll probably need to be patient.
-
Is it not self evident? We lost a world class player. The squad is better, the team is worse. Hopefully over time that will change.

I think that’s because he’s demonstrated next to nothing in his career to date, unlike Big Nick. Look we’d all love you to be right!
