I think it’s possible that the accumulation of injuries has kind of ruined him. We certainly made them look like the fastest football team ever assembled. The way they just breezed past our players time and time again…alarming. hopefully it’s just a case of us being knackered and them, somehow being fresh as a daisy despite all their injuries and run of games.

I don’t think it comes down to preferring Osula. We need three strikers. Osula is raw AF and, let’s be honest, has very unimpressive numbers to this point. The second guy needs to be a different profile, more experienced for sure.

Howe obviously thinks he can bring DCL back towards his best. We also need a player who’s happy enough to just sit on the bench and get 10-15 mins at best most weeks. It’s a tricky role to fill. We have the kid in Osula so I guess we need one more experienced option…
