Shame Gateshead or South Shields couldn't have got hold of him.
-
Think we'd only pay that if we got similar for Gordon for example, or Isak left.
-
That white stripe...nah.
-
Ideally between 21-25 and for under £50m.
-
Think one defender strong, good in the air, a bit of no-nonsense, alongside a one who can play a little bit, good positionally and has good recovery pace is the perfect partnership. If we can find a defender like Van Dijk who is literally all of that, then quality mind.

Hugo Ekitike (not playing for Liverpool for a while)

Keep them coming and I'll stick around. -
Think it's ideal for a Burn/Botman partner.
-
And Targett will be wanting a pay rise to keep up with inflation of all the money being bandied about the place.
-
Barnes & Pearce were absolutely fine. Rush was a clear panic short-term signing after Shearer's injury and Ferdinand leaving. Sort of like Kuqi.

He'll go to Liverpool if they think Isak is too expensive, or here if Liverpool blow their beans on Isak. -
Downie has very good sources.

I think Gallagher would allow us to play him, Tonali & Joelinton to start 28-32 league games between them. Plus cups and Europe obviously. Miley staying might give Bruno a few games breather but not the same level of swapping as the other three. Willock staying on another year with Longstaff going. Might be enough this season, though, Bruno seems to be able to manage the games and he's now had a summer off.

Who needs scouts/Sporting Directors when you can just get the players to tap new signings up?
-
10 players started 28+, Gakpo, Jones & Jota were the only other 3 outfield players who started 10+.
-
Was it something to do with if they bid a certain valuation it gave the club permission to speak to the player, but nothing in the wording meant that Liverpool had to accept the offer? Rings a bell but might be misremembering.
-
You'll still have 11 or so who depending on injuries will start 30 plus and those who'll start under 15. So they're backups in my eyes.
-
On the bright side, they'll be one of about 3-4 teams who are capable of winning that cup so could end up in the Europa League next season after another trophy. They could heavily rotate and make the Quarters at least, the main players probably won't need to play regularly in it until the latter rounds. Might actually help them this season.
-
They not just swapping places with Forest?
-
Harvey Elliott will be the same.
-
Goes to show that you can sign squad players from the "big 6". Seems to be a bit of a sore subject when we get linked directly, yet here we are.
-
Think he'd be excellent. Ideal fourth midfield option, good enough to push Joelinton hard for first-choice but could also probably do what Tonali does too (not as impressively, like). I'm sold.
-
Start of the window I thought they'd have been mugs signing Henderson just because he's "one of theirs", but looking at the inexperience they're bringing in, he might have been exactly what they needed for a year.

"You used to play for Nottingham Forest, now that you're in the North-East, do you think you'll be visiting Kielder Forest?" *Interviewer laughs*
