A full-back compilation would be good .Could get some crackers in there from Venison, Beresford, Griffin, Domi, Charvet at Boro etc.

Just seen the Facebook post, followed by countless, "StIcK tHeM iN tHe FiRsT tEaM" posts.

Said all season I think they've been the best of the promoted clubs despite the table. Farke has done a brilliant job.
-
The goal at Sunderland is very underrated too.
-
Was just thinking of this guy the other day. He seems to have done a David Batty since retiring. Also, what a find he was. Plucked from the reserves of a French second tier team and he was getting semi-regular games within a few months.
-
What rumours have there been about him stepping down? Seem the odd opinion from the likes of Carragher saying he should take the England job after Tuchel but they've been more opinions rather than rumours.
-
If Leicester are in financial difficulties due to spending, that's what needs clamped down on. If it's them spending money they can afford but just isn't to the big clubs' liking, then it's a load of tosh.
-
It's 100% a dig at the rules protecting the cartel. It's shit. Probably a message to those saying we should just spend what we want and deal with the consequences like.
-
How dare they try to be the best club they could possibly be.

Not even thinking of wins needed to get into the top 5 anymore, just win to help stop the season becoming a bit of a damp squib. -
Aaron Ramsdale: return to Southampton confirmed

He made a better attempt of it last night than the only other option on Saturday. -

I'd keep him for Saturday tbh. Don't think there's much between him & Pope at the minute but Pope's had it too easy in his time here not having to fight for his place. Wouldn't be against Pope coming straight back in after that as such but might be the rocket he needs. -
Must have filled out the last 2 years, like. Very good all-round performances these two legs. If he's still open to us, spend what we can to bring him in.
-
He did what people asked for and went for it. Should have just tried staying in the tie. Being picked apart.

Definitely some Pessimistic Cnuts. Lol.

If we're allowed to spend similar to Arsenal on fees & wages over the next 4-5 years then naturally you're going to challenge for the title by the end of it. I still think one good summer, no sales, and you could definitely contest for it.
-
Liverpool under Rodgers is pretty much perfect example of what I was on about. They had the perfect storm that could have won the title that year. It's not like they'd built for it. They also could have won it 2-3 years earlier than fhey Spurs under Pochettino probably should have done it the year Leicester did. They weren't building towards the title as such, but another perfect storm of the usual challengers struggling and a prolific scorer should have done it there. I'll give you Klopp's Liverpool, but Arsenal have been throwing so much money at it for so long, it was going to stick eventually. Honestly think we're just as likely to do it next season, with no Europe, telling the big players no-one is leaving and adding 4-5 top signings to it, than we are having a particular 3-4 year build.
-
I don't know if you can even build for a title. It'll just happen. There'll be one summer where the 5-6 quality players we have all have top seasons with no injuries, we'll have 3-4 signings who hit the ground running and avoid injuries, and a striker who has an Isak 24/5 style season.
-
I was hoping after the takeover that we'd have the title sewn up before 2027 to mark 100 years since the last, so they've failed.
-
One trick pony which was great with Isak. He puts balls in dangerous areas but rarely actually looks up. He just puts ball in an area. Mentioned after a recent match, Wissa scored 3 of his 19 last season from RW passes/crosses, Woltemade isn't that sort of striker. And this is where cashing in when he's at his peak while we have to move to a different way of playing and different styles of strikers comes in. We've done the same with Willock by all accounts this window. £40m potentially gone lost out on players we'll never get that sort of money for again, while we are hampered by PSR? Love where the club is going, I just think our inability to sell the "non-purples" at the right time is a weakness.
-
And this is where we fail a bit as a club. It's clear Murphy was performing above his ability (similar to Miggy), he's 30 now, we've probably lost our chances at a decent fee for him now. He likely stays until his contract is up or goes for a nominal fee. He was never going to keep that level of numbers up into his 30s. People kept saying he was perfect for Isak, but Isak was also perfect for him.
-
2 goals and 3 assists in 16 starts & 10 sub apps.
-
Hindsight but there was surely a willing buyer for Murphy in the £20m region last summer? Could have given us a squad space to sign a similarly priced Anderlecht regen that so many crave.
-
You play that way when you don't have the means to compete, they've consistently spent up amongst the top every year for 6-7 years now and this is the end product of it. Horrible football club.

Won't get bored of saying it, Arsenal are an ugly, horrible team.
