There's a valid argument for him even if you took out "foreign".
-
We're in a bit of a limbo where the top targets will still choose the Sky 6, and the group of players underneath, clubs know we have money and will rinse us.
-
And here's why I don't get why our fans are drooling over your recruitment saying we should have went for them (keeper aside). Elanga would be incredible in that Sunderland setup going by the Forest model and his Forest numbers will likely piss on whoever plays on the wings for Sunderland. Far easier to scout a £10-25m player to play your way than someone for similar money and expect him to try and improve a top 5 side.

I'd love to see Alonso at either of those clubs. Not fully sold on him.
-
If one of the promoted clubs get it right this summer then I could see these going down next year. Glasner & Wharton no doubt next. McNeil & Larsen doesn't shout progress.
-
"Patters" as well.

Patrick Zabi set to sign for Paris FC next season

The original source said he'd go back to Reims anyway so doubt we're that arsed. -
Does Graves still even work for Sky? Can't remember the last time I saw him presenting on there and he's been doing the darts with ITV recently.
-
Hearts forum thread on him says we had a bid rejected for him in the summer.
-
And that's probably 50-70% of what you're paying the guys we were chasing and having to sell.
-
Yeah, nailed it really. When the 3-4 top players on our list go to Chelsea, Liverpool & Man Utd who have the PSR power to blow us out of the water in terms of wages, and then have the power to spend £110m plus to unsettle and then sign our one elite player, this argument is 100% valid.

Arsenal signing James Wilson from Hearts on loan with option to buy. Not really had a look in this season but still only 18, has 8 goals in 20+ games and capped by Scotland.
-
Has he even been any good in the Championship this season?

Jamaal Lascelles (now playing for League One Leicester City)

If we give Leicester a game away in pre-season, you'd think we'd send a big following so that'd be a bit of a gesture. -
I think last summer has numbed me for having any feelings about a player leaving now. Would be gutted if he left because I think with Bruno and the young full-backs he's in that small group for us who could play in most teams in the league.
-
That's fair actually. His point blank saves these days are ones near him where it's just instinct with his arms or feet to keep out. He'll have to do until the summer but think we'll learn a lot about where we're going by the keeper we sign.

Does this make Jacob Murphy our longest serving player? -
I know they finished 17th last season but the bottom 3 were so pathetic they were never in a relegation battle. This season though, West Ham have shown the last few games they have some life and wins in them. Could they go this time?
-
They'll have Ryan Mason probably if not so win-win.
-
Hibs 0-0 Rangers meaning Hearts are 6 clear. Starting to really believe.
-
Co-efficient doesn't really mean much in this format?
-
Take it and go on to win it. Bare minimum we can do the next 2 seasons.
-
I wish the mistakes he was making this season were just down to his poor feet, but the goals he's costing us are absolutely shocking at this level in all aspects, whether it's his misjudgement coming out, or dropping basic stuff like that last night. Need 2 keepers this summer..
-
Only so much you can do with stripes, it's been about a new kit a year for almost 20. I don't mind the odd design which is out of the ordinary.

Robert's my favourite player from this era, but the sight of him sitting in the centre-circle with his boots off while the likes of Woodgate & Hughes stepped up to take them always grated me. We'd have went through to the groups if he'd taken one. Think he was in a huff because he was benched that match for Viana.
