Dokko
Mike Ashley likes money too much to let him stay. If Ashley has a choice, another decent manager in line the it's time up for smac... If no one agrees to take over then we're stuck with him. Hopefully there's someone out there dumb enough The argument that mike ashley won't do something really stupid cos he loves his money has never held water, the running of the club is incompetant. Would a competent club have let Carver drag us to near relegation? All assumptions on what the club may do has to be filtered through the fact that they have absolutely no idea what they are doing. The fact we spent £80m and we fielded that squad on saturday is testament to that. Carver sailed close to the wind, too close for Ashley and if smac hadn't turned us down he'd have been replaced. Carver should never have got that close to relegation, it was almost impossible from the position pardew left us in, thry underestimated his stupidity. At some point Ashley realises he needs a manager or he'll lose millions finding it out. I just don't think he's that stupid... Not when money is at stake. They tried to appoint the current idiot before Carver, they clearly thought there was no way Carver could be that shit and decided he could fill the 6 month gap before trying for McClaren again. Obviously, they were wrong about Carver's level of ineptitude, so I imagine it'll be a similar story here where they'll sound out a couple of managers and if they all say no we're stuck with this idiot. Unbelievable
What does it tell us that they underestimated Carver's stupidity and ineptitude when it was clear for the vast majority of fans if they persisted with him as caretaker until the end of the season, even when starting from a position well outside of the bottom 3? r0cafella
Pearson is a nutcase. I expect to go down anyway so him coming and possibly filling in one of our cowardly lot gives him my vote.

Dave
Bit hard to read but: http://i.imgur.com/Qlwcqvp.png Reckons McClaren has been bumming Bishop. Stacks up.

We were basically in a "one more win" scenario for about 3 months It should never have got to that stage
Frazzle
Moyes was previously not interested but now is? Wonder what changed for him? The addition of Steve Black? The signing of Saivet? The beckoning relegation?
jdckelly
Moyes was previously not interested but now is? Wonder what changed for him? The addition of Steve Black? The signing of Saivet? KaKa
The thought of McClaren begging to be kept in the role is crazy to me. Let it go and move on. The guy is totally out of his depth. Can't even get the team selection right.

Unbelievable
So the cunt pleaded for his job with Bishop who then proceeded to fill in Sky Sports about the players wanting to make a statement that they were right behind him. jdckelly
Stan CollymoreVerified account @StanCollymore 17m17 minutes ago Wonder if Sir Les has DoF at #NUFC in his locker. Interesting. What's he on about? Wasn't Les part of Redknapp's team at QPR? QPR's current DOF

Mattoon
Usually when a club stays silent it's because something is brewing, with our lot is usually because they have their fingers in their ears vehemently praying for a miracle. I don't trust these idiots no matter how obvious it looks to the rest of humanity, they know best.

Dave
http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/premier-league/newcastle-united-vs-bournemouth-steve-mcclaren-safe-for-now-but-clamour-grows-after-humbling-home-a6916251.html McClaren still believes he can turn the club’s fortunes around but, after eight months in charge, thinks the complicated internal structure cannot work. The head coach has a place on the football board, along with former captain Bob Moncur, but Graham Carr, effectively a sporting director, and Charnley make the key decisions. McClaren has fought for a commanding central defender and goalscoring centre-forward since he took control of the playing staff last summer. Neither has arrived and it is believed a number of potential signings could not be concluded during the January transfer window. Newcastle failed to complete a £24m deal for Saido Berahino and were left to scramble around and sign Seydou Doumbia on loan from Roma until the end of the season. Who could have possibly known it?
