soyt
OK. So even though he is on 11 winless run he gets appalauded because Steve McClaren is a shit manager. He just cant lose.

Mick
https://www.facebook.com/awaydayfootball/videos/1045435515502614/ Shouldn't they be singing about Adam Johnson?
beardsleymagic
The thing to worry about is, are they even looking for a replacement? Knowing these lot, probably not.

TK-421
What does he know man. Would hardly be a suprise, they had nobody lined up to replace Pardew. Last time though, there weren't that many available candidates (I think, from memory) and they seemed set on McClaren. This time, there is Moyes (seems to be the fave), Rafa (probably unrealistic) or even Jose (dream time!).... the big TV money is under threat. so they could throw a massive amount on wages at any of those till the summer to hopefully keep us up, and the TV deal would more than pay that outlay back. Its a gamble of course, but we all know Mike likes a gamble. But unlike before with Pardew, the TV money will be the decisive factor this time. ToonTastic
You say that yet they let the bloke continue the job over the break, the perfect time to sack him.

Tiotes Witch Doctor
Don't think hes going anywhere personally, and we'll go down on 30 points, and the club will come out and say something along the lines of hes the perfect man to bring us back up, and 75% of the fan base will buy it too. Unfortunately highly likely being the cheap option It's not the cheap option though, sticking with him at this stage will cost us £millions and doing the same next season will probably keep us in the championship. The cheap option will be to sack him now and bring in a suitable replacement.
mighty__mag
Replacement lined up? Simpson & Cathro until the end of the season then. What difference would it actually make. Just get the goofy horse teethed fuck out! Can't bare another cluless post/pre match appearance and his daft grin and ridiculous facial expressions. Twat. If that's the case evry one of the fuckers deserve it - he should have been sacked fucking months ago and if he isn't now then the only way forward is to be relegated and stay there until the fat cunt decides he has had enough and sells up. The whole club is rotten to the core. A joke of a owner, joke of a Chief Executive, joke of a chief scout and an idiot as a team manager.
ExiledGeordie
He's been an unmitigated disaster and his position is untenable but it would be classic for us to "stick with him" ffs because the club as a whole is a car crash.

He was given a target, cup run & finish top 8. Neither achieved,no target met, bought in own back room, had assurances of a place on board and input into transfer recruitment. He was certainly behind or influencing in the recent window, those before had been pre lined up upon his arrival. He's managed to get nothing right. They have every right to fire him and possibly based on the contract he signed should he fail to make the targets set, they could have inserted clauses that he wouldn't get the full compo based on agreeing to deliver what was required. toon25
The loss yesterday will change nothing sadly. Those cunts on the board will know nothing now that they didn't know before the long break - the perfect time to have binned him and brought in someone new. The fact they didn't push the button after the Chelsea game beggars belief. If they didn't then, they won't after another humiliating loss.
