Disco
"So the group moved on to Aspers Casino in Newcastle's Gate Complex where they stayed until 5.45am before having breakfast at a McDonalds and then all going back to Nolan's home." madras
Honestly though I know it's petty but I'd love to see the club and/or players sue for that. Completely ridiculous attempt at linking them and the club to the drugs and making out Carroll shouldn't be getting a jump for some reason ('orgy' ffs). Somehow I can't see the stuff about Nolan's wife being true either. even though it says there were drugs there it also says there is no evidence of the players taking them......that'll be enough to stop any libel i guess. Big Geordie
Unbelievable - a section of the media seem to have it in for Carroll. I hope that legal advice is being sought, because I can't see owt wrong with what's happened, bar Carroll tubbing some boiler at Nolan's? Unless of course they are suggesting that he has been partaking in some charles as well.....

It's a non-story really though, because the paper has said that neither player were known to have taken the drugs. I'd like to think Carroll was behaving himself a bit better but what has he actually done wrong here?

OzzieMandias
It'll be a story now, though, and it'll keeping getting brought up as part of a wider "club in turmoil" kind of narrative. I know they've done nowt particularly wrong, but I wish they had the sense to keep themselves out of the papers.

Had Sherbet all over the place after going on a sugar fuelled binge. Any chance Newcastle are playing ARSENAL in LONDON tomorrow. Fucking gutless muppets the media. Hope they do sue btw. Liam Liam Liam O
Given the obvious bother with the car, there'll have been people queuing up to try and set Carroll up for something.

And the News of the World goes, "Hey, I've got an idea!"

QBG
Really makes my blood boil that I'm doing a degree where they teach us standards and ethics in journalism and this lot write whatever the hell they want at an extremely sub-standard level and it passes for journalism. Anderson
As if we need any help to lose tomorrow Carroll seems to thrive on stuff like this though.
