And credit to whoever came up with the idea. We've gone from having a pitch needing pulled up and replaced three times a season to a near perfect surface all the way through. He is the thirds goalie at Hacken but did impress when playing for the sub-16 national team in Sweden. The Magpies wrapped up the signing of the 17-year-old goalkeeper on transfer deadline day. Soderberg is rated as one of the brightest prospects in Scandinavia and Hacken admit it was a tough to let him leave. "It is sad to lose one of the most promising keepers in Sweden," said director Dennis Andersson. "But we are convinced Newcastle is the best alternative."
