It's still generally agreed by the ITK's that Eto'o is the preferred replacement for Berbatov with Villa being the next best thing. Still scary to think that Villa would cost very little more than Bent. Also seems like Aston Villa want Robinson, Kameni apparently at the medical and work permit stage. ElDiablo
Always thought Kameni was a bit dodgy, definately better than Robinson though.
johnnypd
a good young replacement for N'Zogbia might be eljero elia from fc twente. lightning fast and has a good delivery. was motm vs ajax the other week, turned Kronkamp inside out all match and scored a clever lob near the end. Ikon
Would absolutely love it if we could get David Silva or Villa, but it wont happen, every top club in europe will be after him and Villa.

Kimbo
In a 4-3-3 at least 2 of the midfielders have to be able to defend well. That would never work.

Parsley
Switzerland striker Eren Derdiyok has said he would love to play with Michael Owen at Newcastle. 19 years old, 6'3, good goal scoring record at U21 level. Worth a punt?

Worth a punt? Certainly cheaper and younger than crouch would be a good replacement for shola if he does eventually go. Depends how much money we want to throw into the striker force this summer.
