Liverpool Vs Newcastle Pre-Match thread.

I actually think we might win in a shock result.  :clap2: You heard it here first

You got inside info on results like?

Turns out that football is fake, like wrestling.

You should read next weeks storyline. Insider, yo.

is this Captain Fantastic's first return to Anfield?

No, he played in that one on boxing day a few years back when Bowyer got sent off and I think Crouch scored with a header that went in off the post and Given.

The quick run of games for them could work totally against us. They won 3-1 today, then if they beat W Ham on Wednesday, they will be right up for it.

I always feel that if your winning games, you feel like you can and want to play every day.

What will maybe work for us is if W Ham get something in mid-week. Rafa will be even more focused on making sure they go through at Milan that their team will be very under strength (certainly no Gerrard or Torres)

Mind, their under strength is probably still too strong for us, and given our recent history there, I am still going for a comfortable Pool win. Goal would be good though.

Time to think of the Brum game. (local for me so I am shitting it ever more than just the fact that its a 6 pointer). I am still getting battered over the Villa result. I need something to fight back with.

When I come out with a comment like this, it's rarely wrong. You can call me the houdini of Newcastle.

I would happily take a point from this game, sadly we will almost certainly be soundly beaten!!

The run of MUST WIN GAMES start the week after at Birmingham.

Still can't get over the result on Saturday, shellshocked!

Drop Smith and go 4-5-1. Two benefits:

1. Stifle the scouse midfield.

2. No Smith should improve the passing. Losing a non-scoring forward won't give us any less goal threat.

1. Which of our midfielders are capable of smothering anyone??

if there's 5 of them it means less distance between them which should make passing a bit easier. In theory.

Barnsley did it, why can't we?

Because Barnsley got them on a day when their players couldnt score from 6 yards. When we play Liverpool, they score from 60 yards.

Similar good fortune wont be with us

We go, we do our best. If we get beat by a better team doing its best, fine. If they're off colour and we can grab a point, that would be brilliant.

Anyhow, we go and we support our team and manager.
