Thespence
I think they may move for him if they cant get David Healy. It was on EAT24

Baggio
I read this earlier but I didn't start a thread as everyone will slag poor Shola off.
Jamie
I'd love to see Shola go out on loan and do well in the Championship

James
Shola is better than Ipswich to be honest. Much of his general play is not as good as we need, but he can still be an effective player at times. I reckon he should give it a go at a top flight club on the continent. Cheshire Mag
Shola for Barca. Never read so much crap James!
James
Shola for Barca. Never read so much crap James! I'm thinking more along the lines of Mallorca or Zaragoza. Shola can be good against some continental teams because he's a little different. I can think of loads of worse Premier League strikers, its just that Newcastle have been spoilt with quality strikers for over fourteen years, making us all a little fussy. Conjo
I agree with James. Think of Kanoute for Sevilla. (Im not meaning Ameobi is as good as Kanoute though)
Big Geordie
Shola's european record is only bettered by Shearer (I think) I agree with the points about him trying out somewhere on the continent. If he ends up at Ipswich though, I wish him all the best. The way some of our fans treat him is very shabby.
madras
i'd think ipswich for him would be regaular games and a shop window.
Guest The Libertine
as long as it gets him away from this club, im in favour.
womblemaster
the lad needs to get off his ass and move out the comfort zone.ie away from sunny tyneside. Continental side would be good as he lacks pace or strength for the english leagues.
Tooj
I wish the lad all the best. Some of the stick he's had at times has been nothing short of appauling.
Guest alex
Abroad would definitely suit his style better. Not saying he'd play for a top club abroad btw.
Karjala
The quicker he goes the better, not good enough for us, never will be.
Ridman
Shola away :wav: Maybe they can manage to teach him how the offside rule works over at Ipswich, we certainly haven't over the past years.
La Parka
I wish the lad all the best. Some of the stick he's had at times has been nothing short of appauling. Too true. Always liked the lad, just wasn't good enough to make it here. All the best to him.

When was the last time you played for Newcastle United Pullman? I hope he goes and has a good loan spell.
GM
I find it surprising that it's Ipswich who are apparently interested...would have thought Norwich was a more logical place for the lad to go since he got on so very well with Glenn. Oh well, whatever happens, I hope he does amazingly well and proves his critics wrong. He would absolutely piss it in the SPL I reckon.
