YankeeToon
Best effort I've seen from adidas is this one: http://www.subsidesports.com/uk/images/product/xlarge/DjurgardenHSS0809.jpg Hope we don't end up with the Chelsea design. can someone photoshop this to black and white with the newcastle logo on? I think the newcastle kit would look superb in that design. Quick and dirty... http://img88.imageshack.us/img88/3431/nufc1np2.jpg

mattypnufc
looks remarkably like our current top only minus the silly curvy bits of blue
Guest optimistic nit
am i the only one who sees no difference whatsoever between the above kit and our currant one or indeed any home kit we've had this century, barring the change of sponsors? midds
Aye, it's a bit monotonous having black and white EVERY year... I think we should go with lilac just for a change.
YankeeToon
Actually, when I was doing up the 2nd one, I thought to myself "This looks almost exactly like our shirt right now." Different logo placement, a little different on the sides, and that's about it. It's the back where I really don't like our current one, I'm fine with the front. I think we should go with lilac just for a change. can we have a floural pattern? There's only so much ou can do with black and white stripes though isn't there? Any shirt we bring out is inevitably going to look like something we've already worn. Doesn't bother me too much because I stopped buying the shirts a good few years ago tbh. Doesn't bother me too much because I stopped buying the shirts a good few years ago tbh. i dont have a problem with it, but i dont see how anyone can say "looks like the lasses top from the year before" etc.. when its black, white and has stripes. its a format thats worked well in the past, i'm sure that if mort doesn't find my email regarding an increased use of floural patterns in our home shirts interesting that format is going to be with us for some time, not that i find a problem with it. i just cant see how people can say "i like that" or "i don't like that" about a home shirt when all i'm seeing is alternate black and white stripes. unless we get lumped with that hiddeous collar on the chelsea shirt. chicago_shearer
Ideally, I'd like to see a return to the maroon/blue hoops next year. Second choice would be some updated version of the yellow or blue retro kits.

Adam
I live our home shirt, its completely different to any other strips, and isn't a basic adidas like L'pool and Chelsea.
